Much better than the Hosono interview, maybe due to no language barrier with Sakamoto, but the interviewer is better and more charismatic too, actually seems familiar with Sakamoto's catalogue.
Ya, i think that first question was nice because it follows some of Sakamoto's philosophy of Noise and the power of Nature in sound, was probably a lil bit unexpected but a nice ice breaker
If you want to read more about the interview...

rest in peace Ryuichi
Sakamoto san is a genuine genius
The first question was easily the worst first question I've ever heard in an interview
Their look said it all 🧐
hahahha
Hahah my thought too

Oh my god that physically hurt to watch
Who let this guy interview people?
Nice interview with 2 great ones, thanks for sharing!
Never would’ve guessed that Alva Noto is Carsten from Karl Marx Stadt
i listen to their collaboration works very often...one of the better surprises in recent years...
awkwardness starts at first question
Why couldn’t they have got some good interviewers? It’s not like they were interviewing geniuses or anything...
Was wondering if they did one together! Nice!
rbma ended because of interviewers like this
Still nice, always!
L.o.L good launch.
respect
Wow, was the interviewer going for an award in awkwardness?

Clásico del Rockero Progresivo.
does anyone know the tune that is played before the conversation starts at very beginning?
It’s Logic Moon by Ryuichi Sakamoto and Alva Noto respectfully.

Word!
First Last haruomi didnt mind him , so why nobody like you put on such harsh judgement ,

Don't kid yourself, the reaction from Sakamoto at 24:35 from the artificial applause says it all
@@LordMarlle HAHAHAHA yeah ... it's kinda difficult to watch this vid with all the awkward moments tbh
What a pretentious first question
Well, that was awkward!
