These videos are great and stay on point, great work! The only feedback I can think of is that from the perspective of a beginner it is very difficult to get into the mindset of "when should I use this". For instance, If I am trying to create a particle system which particles change from one color to another over time then my brain can connect the dots and think: "Oh! This function allows me to do that!". From this video I am aware of the existing tools and options but my beginner brain has a hard time thinking practical cases where they would come in handy (beyond very straight-forward situations). My point is: a video where you create an effect that uses some of these functions would help a lot.
This would switch the thought process to "problem > solution". Then again, not trying to minimize the value of the video, just offering a different point of view :)

Yeah I agree. Maybe each video could be more like 15 mins. The beginnning is 5 mins explaining the principle, but then another 10 mins making something basic using that idea.

Thank you for recording this tutorial series. There are very few quality lessons on Niagara. Like and subscribe)) I hope you will write down many more tutorials on creating effects. 👍

Thank you for the video. I have a question. How to extend the timeline in vector from curve from 5s to 10 for example? I will appreciate for the answer

Man, thx alot for your work and the high quality of your content, i am having some fun messing with Niagara while trying to figure out how to make my main objective with it
    Cheers!

I've been trying to animate the spawn rate with the 'float from curve', but couldn't manage to. Do you know what is that curve time value based on? Both particle lifetime and emitter life cycle seemed to affect it, which makes it impossible to keyframe how I want to.

yes. i think that curve don't work in 'particle spawn'. i am also confusing.

@@araleeyo16 You need to expose/promote the parameter you want to animate to Sequencer and keyframe it there. :)

Weird that is is called Vector from Curve instead of Curve from Vector when you transform a vector to curve.
