Good points about sweat causing specular highlights and about shade losing color. Hadn’t thought about those. Thanks! Another great vid.

Jason is absolutely correct on the Rotolight gear. I shoot dance pictures once a year indoors. The girls jump flip and do alot of high speed moves. For years i used a godox ad600, it worked great, but since it can only flash once or twice in a row before recharge on 1to1, my timing had to be spot on every time. Now enter rotolight aeos kit which i just bought with Jasons discount. They are amazing you can flash 1000s of times in a row , i never had 1 shot where flash didnt fire. I took 2400 photos at 1 session with same battery. The shots are amazing. Thank you Jason for the great lessons!

@Protect MyRights I am impressed that from my post you know exactly what lighting conditions I had to shoot in. If the 56k AD600 is perfect for you thats cool. I will not switch back, I had less editing to do because all the lights in the room are the same color temp. Much less post processing then ever before, because I was able to turn off the ugly 32k flourecent lights and use the 2 rotolight Aeos on 100% constant, to light the area then flash at 200% brighter at the same color temp to freeze motion, A win all the way around. Much softer and pleasing light then the Harsh flash. Though I will still use the AD600 outdoors to over power the sun, Aeos cant do that.

The camaraderie between you and Emily is so enjoyable to watch which translates into the viewer really wanting and being able to learn the techniques you bring to light here!(yes- pun intended!)🙂 More youtube presenters should establish this style of presentation more often as it is so darn fun to watch! Extremely easy to get so much out of this very important topic matter. Keep up the wonderful work both of you!
