I did everything the same, i already have nibbi throttle cable installed from old owner onto nibbi carb. I understand this and all the videos. I understand putting it together. The only thing im unsure of now, is when i decompress the spring against the cap with the needle slide(while in hand-not drop slide needle into hole THEN attach throttle cable) the throttle cable hangs down along side needle jet. Is that whata supposed to happen? I guess i cant see it when inside so for all i know its supposed to be like that. But that would mean throttle cable ends getting gas on it inside or no? Or does it automatically sit where its supposed to when fully screwed? Or is it because when twisting throttle handle it pulls throttle cable in the slide up into its hole safe at same time? I understand i need slack, so just trying to do it right before screwing it on. My only thought is maybe the black cap outside red cap that hold throttle cable in place needs tightened to hold cable in place. I would think its not supposed to move. If i push the end of cable up into hole my throttle disapears. If i pull it down throttle handles tight. Tighter than before as it has a wiggle before grabbing. Thoughts? First time taking apart, cleaning, put back together a bike carb. Successful until this confusion

Just press the needle and push the cable on the slide and take it out of the rut
