GReat review! I have been struggling when which one to go with, cause I can only get one at the moment. I initially ordered C-01, but then cancelled and ordered C-02, but then cancelled C-02 and have re-ordered C-01 again. I really like the look of C-02, but 2 things put me off it. First was that it doesn't come with a trailer (and my reissue G1 Prime didn't either, so I don't have a complete set), and second was that I'm also collecting the studio series 86 line and some of the legacy bots that are cartoon accurate, so as for as a cartoon accurate Prime goes, I'm holding out for when they release either a studio 86 version/Legacy version to go with my other cartoon accurate bots.
I agree with you on the not continuing the missing link series we are in the unpopular opinion of that. Your limited on who you can do really Megatron I doubt you can turn him to a tank and it wouldn’t be genuine hot rod maybe other than that not sure ultra magnus that’s about it you wouldn’t go far with that line
This is great, but damn, the price tags are too much for me. And for that price, I would have expected to have the launching system to be included....
Great review. I agree they should end with Optimus, but I got a feeling theyre considering doing other characters. Maybe Ultra Magnus.
Pretty Cool , all he needs is a Basket Ball ! Maybe they could add articulation to Soundwave.

My recommendation is C-01 since it's the comple set. It's all but confirmed that there will be a Commander Class SS86 Optimus Prime coming.
I have mine on preorder, though I had ordered the animé version.

Man, I really kinda hate that the trailer doesn’t have a spring loaded launcher anymore :/
Especially since they kept the firing missiles in the drone.
