The cinematic pulse rifle...Look at how they massacred my boy...
There is a theory about the *Vanilla* Ar2 that is Confirmed in Half life Alyx, which is about the pulse ammo
There are 3 pulse chambers per mag (Drum mag thingy)
So the Mag auto reloads the chambers once they are empty
If we could say the accurate Ar2 should be 90 pulse rounds per mag and about 260+ full ammo
And there is a mini reload per chamber (30 rounds)
And the final reload is when he replaces the whole mag

@@Snikabarz these things are optional, and if you wanted a graphical upgrade, go play mmod. Cinematic mod is a customization tool, rather than graphical improvement.

@@magicmanhs7718 as far as I know, you should *never* manually spin the cyllinder when it's not ejected. It actually damages the revolver. No use being tacticool if that means you no longer have a gun, right?
@@theprofilmstudios hl2 isn't exactly grounded in realism that much though, most of the environment settings? Absolutely, a lot of city 17 is based off of eastern European architecture iirc or something like that. Literally everything else about the game though? not a chance, so a mod to add realism doesn't entirely feel necessary, but if that's what you enjoy in a game I'm not gonna criticise you for enjoying it, that would just be a dickhead move, everyone has different tastes and that's totally fine

On behalf of the cinematic mod it is not made for the same purpose as mods like redux, and mmod it's made to be it's own thing. Cinematic mod is a reimagining not a graphical rehaul like half life 2 update. Also the nsfw models have to be chosen manually the game has the original models, and you have to go out of your way to get the nsfw models enabled

Yes, Cinematic is a large improvment, but Redux is a lot more true to the original.
In Cinematic, the 9mm, SMG and Pulse Rifle are completly redesigned.
I like how the MP5 with an M203 makes no sense but is so iconically HL1
I like how the Redux crossbow reload starts with a come piece of rebar, that seems to hear up instantly when inserted. Looks even better than the Vanilla.

I believe the model has 2 barrels, the one under is probably the grenade launching one, although it's really small to fit a grenade.
The only thing I like about cinematic mod is how the maps look
Even then, the Coast levels would realistically not see that much vegetation. City 17 looks gorgeous but the coast just doesn't make sense; why are there so many trees in a place largely devoid of water? In the 20 years since that sea has been drained, how have they not withered? It seems like prop-spamming to me, but hey, that's just my opinion on the coast levels.
I like the pistol for the cinematic mod bc it adds the laser and a better sound effect to it

It is just an HK21(not an MP5 as you can see at the magazine) with a scope and and pulse ball launcher attached to it

Go there are some things of the cinematic that are not very comfortable to look at, however, and tested the mod so it is not so bad since you can change some things to your liking

The cinemtaic mod is a mod that has a lot of things that are great but simply done in the wrong way and also changes that are unnecessary and straight up just bad choices.
But then again it’s also more supposed to be a re-imagination of the game.
There is a reason why I don't complain about mod makers mainly because of the work they put into it especially fake factory (the maker of cinematic mod) cause from what someone else said not sure if it's true he spent 5 years and $18,000 of his own money to make this mod and alot of people just wrote it off as garbage
