Wow!!! He looks so good. I really love the movie design honestly, it’s perfectly distinct from his game versions and I think it really fits the animation. You should bring the doll to the movies and offer him up as a sacrifice on opening weekend so one day we can get an animated Zelda series LMAO

You could teach a master course in working clay. I know how hard it is to make a face and human figure look good and you absolutely nailed it.
I didn't like the redesign of Mario for the movie at first but it's grown on me, and honestly this looks better than Illumination's version. I think the movie looked pretty decent and expect it to be a slight step above Detective Pikachu and the first Sonic movie. Which were both decent. But I think this will be a smidge better than decent.

To me, Mario Movie Mario seems to have a bit more personality and humanity than in the games? The design is totally a typical 3d animation style and I know that's not for everyone, but idk, Mario just looks all round and soft lol. I had very low expectations until I saw the trailers, now I really look forward to seeing it!
