Im glad you gave praise to Philip Selway, he's an amazing drummer and I believe people refer to him as the human metronome because he's plays so tight and on time, I see him as a Ringo esk drummer, he just fits whatever vibe Jonny and Thom cook up. Colin Greenwood is also an extremely underrated bassist, he's made some of my favourite bass lines of all time (How to disappear completely, Airbag, Nude, Jigsaw falling into place, Weird Fishes)
@@GuitarSoloReactions definitely. Their earlier, more popular stuff was more in the synth pop genre, almost like Duran Duran and Tears for Fears. But by their last two albums their music was much more cinematic and ethereal. Ambient, jazz, and orchestral sounds took a front seat. If you want a taste/refresher, New Grass is an incredible song and probably most comparable to this.
Great video! Based on your 10 second video introductions with heavy guitar, you should definitely check something out from the Ok Computer album. Probably (studio version) Paranoid android ;-) . "Bodysnatchers" also great, Jools Holland live version very cool.
The secret sauce with Radiohead is always the Rhythm section. Maybe you could react to a more rock oriented track like Bodysnatchers from the basement it's about as hard rock as Radiohead gets and reminds me of how great a hard rock band they could have been if that's what they wanted to do.
I think that's one of the most beautiful songs they have ever written.
Or anyone for that matter

Phil Selway has some incredible solo stuff, as well.
That’s great to know, I will seek it out.
That outro always reminds me of Talk Talk's last two albums
I haven’t listed to Talk Talk for almost 40 years, if I remember correctly, they some progressive elements.

@@Michael-cv5wk I will check it out, my friends that prog rock fans mention them. Thanks for commenting.

Thank you, that one has been suggested and I have it on my list.

Thanks will check out Bodysnatchers.
@@GuitarSoloReactions It's a very interesting song, think of Yes if they decided to write a punkish rock tune.
Do Optimistic or The Daily Mail from the basement. Bloom would have been 10x better from the basement too.
