haha true
Dude. Why are you on the channel. You have .no. business here.

Lol dat part
Get a drone sim, see how it feels :)
After a year of practicing in a sim, checking every drone video and reading everything I could, your video finally got me into the hobby! I ordered all the parts at Ali, can’t wait to get this thing up and running 🔥

@@noflifenw ?
A lot of the parts seem to be sold out where did you locate a lot of these?
@@itspaysenfpv5634 same, i found a frame on ready made rc and a camera on rotor riot store. everything else is from getfpv and amazon for me. i did swap a few parts but just look around for similar stuff on other sites. Initially i swapped the VTX and RX for the happymodel Fyjion but then that sold out so i got a Speedybee TX800 VTX and a HGLRC ELRS2.4ghz for the RX. went a little over budget but you gotta do what you gotta do i guess
Waiting for the 2035 "build a rideable drone for $20,000" video
dji t40 🤔
A drone is an unmanned aircraft system (UAS) that can fly or suspend itself in the atmosphere. Drones are also known as unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). They can be as small as a palm or as large as an aircraft.
Isn't that a helicopter
Look up the jetson one. It’s bassically that, but it’s a lot more then $20,000
Grant Imahara made one on the white rabbit show for like 20k
Thank you for producing another great video. I really appreciate you posting a budget build for 2023. I'm still analog and I don't have a great deal of money to devote to the hobby so watching you build a budget analog quad with quality components at a time when most guys are going digital AND providing links to where a guy can purchase the components is VERY valuable information to me. Your videos really increase my enjoyment of this wonderful hobby. Your video production value and camera work as well as your CLEAN build philosophy combine nicely with your no-nonsense narration making your videos entertaining as well as informative. Well done. Happy flying amigo.
I love how you soldered motor wires to esc 😍 I recently build drone inspired by 2022 build and if I didn't cut motor wires so short, I would resolder them. This looks great!
Yup. I got most of them right. I just bought that camera for my 3.5 inch build. Also on the 2022 build you did I got the T-Motor Velox V2 2306 motors since the Emax Eco's were sold out at the time of my build. I have also since picked up a RDQ Sourceone V5 frame as an extra frame. Lol, I almost have all the exact same parts to build this quad in a 4S. Great video man! Keep up the great work for the FPV community.
watching this video 101th time n finally.....done building my new fpv 6s drone in the same manner and is working perfect!!!.
How long roughly does battery last? And do I need to buy separate controller and gogles?
@@RazorLeafKnivesbatteries on 6s 5 inch quads usually around 4 minutes. It can last longer just cruising though. And yes you will need goggles and a remote.
Show it flying bro...comtechyt3436...plz😢
Bro what's the speed and the range of the drone
@@Roundergaming0608 all depends on the parts you get, and the controller
Amazing build and very very on the spot with all the information!!! Amazing teacher skills as well. SHORT AND TO THE POINT. Thank you so much!!!
This series has been fabulous. Would absolutely LOVE a similar video for a 3/3.5” build👀
Dahm i would love that too
I'd love a non-budget built. Maybe something with o3
very well done video wanted to get into drone building this is perfect. You are very good at explaining and being straight to the point at the same time, good job.
Awesome!! I considered building my 1st drone but when DJI had 30% discount on the Avata explorer combo I jumped on it. I thought for the Drone, integra goggles and motion 2 controller for $895 I couldn’t pass it up. I may consider your build after I get use to FPV flying. Thanks again
I'm just getting into my first fpv build. Your video was a big help. Thank you and I just subscribed. Awesome video 👍
Thank you for this amazing tutorial, u were the one who inspired to build an fpv drone with ur 2022 edition! which was my first fpv drone. i flew it all though my vacation and learnt a lot about the hobby . It is one of my most cherished memories lol
Thank you for producing another great video. I really appreciate you posting a budget build for 2023.💯💯💯
Your 100% right, no need for a gopro, the o3 air unit has a lot of camera settings, but I have no idea how to set everything correctly but I will learn! I went the v2 googles so I could get longer range.
This video made me decide to embark on an fpv drone adventure and build one for myself. Thanks man, this vid gave me the confidence i needed.
Thank you for making another budget build video! I built your 2022 budget build and flew it all summer. It's still going strong and so much fun to fly. It was my first 5" quad and helped me transition into flying in acro mode.
Hell yes, glad the build video helped ya!
Did you make any changes to the build?

@@FIFI_2109probably around 3-5 minutes
Overall a great DIY build of a drone , I've been working on a build for the past 6 months this has not been easy. So many things to setup do , from frames , motors , control boards, ESC, wires and software updates and setup parms . This is the first video I have found that hits most of the above components, though it would be nice to get into why components are picked , I do understand that it would effect the size of the video. But the rest was great for me , this video was a good road map to doing it . Thanks for this DIY video , it has help so much .
Definitely the best 5" build video out there. Thank you
Clean and Perfect sir, thanks for your video, i really enjoyed it
Thank you. This video really helps!!
Super high quality vid man. Great job.
Thank you so much for this good description. This will help me to start into this nice hobby.
That is a clean build! Love it!
i've been waiting for so long. thanks brother
I was going to buy a DJI drone, but after watching your video I'm thinking of building one as well to practice on before I start flying the DJI, your video is so detailed and cool I appreciate you
Brand new to this hobby, still haven't even bought a controller. This tutorial of sorts was a pleasure to watch. So helpful, incredibly so.
Thank you!
Super dope tutorial. Great job man!!
Really enjoying your content and super energized to start my first build. Never imagined that the FPV drone hobby would be so accessible. Thanks for the excellent tutorials! BTW, you keep saying "splice" when you mean "strip." Splicing is when you join two wires.
Thank you for sharing this video.
Thanks buddy, I enjoyed watching it.
I will be build this SOB. Thank you so much for the video and information man. Gives me the confidence to move forward.
How long roughly does battery last? And do I need to buy separate controller and gogles?
what a machine ...good job...happy flying....
I built the 2022 $200 one, converted to digital, O3. Still flying
What a great, comprehensive build video! 5🌟!
Dude! that was sick, thank you
Thank you
Waited for 7 months for this highlight. Thanks for the great video, you make the best budget builds!
Great video brother, I use your video as a guide to build my first drone last year using the speedbee master hd frame and it work great. My only issue was the video signal, what antennas do you recommend for better analog penetration?
Thanks for the video. I just started my journey in drone, your video is great ways to get started.
Glad it was helpful!
DUDE AMAZING VIDEO! REALLY CONVINCED ME TO START BUILDING MY OWN!!
Just ordered pretty much same build thanks to your video, only changes I made was V4 stack, better VTX + a Runcam camera, and Foxeer ELRS RX
How long roughly does battery last? And do I need to buy separate controller and gogles?
I am a digital system user, every time I see analog systems scattered at cheap prices it really hurts my heart...🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Nice tutorial.. already subscribed
Nice - thanks for sharing.
There's something nostalgic about seeing an analog video feed. Might be carbon-dating myself there. ANYWAYS, love the build, awesome stuff as usual.
It was because of your 2022 build that I was able to assemble my first drone, explained clearly, thank you. I only have one recommendation to replace this frame. The TBS Source one looks a budget frame at beginning, but it doesn't come with any TPU, you're stuck with the antennas hanging down, I lost 2 antennas because of this, the frame is also not compatible with HD, without adding other TPU parts, and each of this pieces costs around $10, in the end this frame is more expensive than a HLGRC for example or a SpeedyBee master v2. But the quality is good, it can withstand a lot of beating, especially the v3.
I know you mentioned 2 but which frame would you suggest that has the most documentation and/or ease of build?
This video is such a good guide. I will definitely be creating a drone soon.
LOVE this guy. Great Vid. Also, I love the, "whatever dude"s. Its perfect. I could literally just see someone watching this and criticizing every little thing. I enjoyed this and look forward to my parts showing up so I can start my new build. I bought the last Drone already built, but I am ready for a backup. Thanks again.
What an awesome video! Thank you for sharing!
Thanks a lot for this video😀👍
when building a PC, I often find cable management the most fun part. this looks supper therapeutic and almost want to make drones just to make em rather than fly them
thanks fr the video, from India,TN

Hey i am trying to build this drone but the vtx is sold out any good alternatives for a first timer that wants to stay within a budget
@@jamesbond2905 The same here. I bought another VTX by Happymodel (combined with the same ELRS receiver, so I ended up using this little board instead of the two separate ones), but then after watching Joshua Bardwell's video I realized that I should have probably bought a more powerful VTX. The one suggested by TRONCAT FPV and mine can produce only 300 mw while to have a good signal at a serious distance your transmitter should produce at least 600 mw or better 1000 mw. In any case, the one I bought and used in my build is this: Happymodel Fyujon V2.0 2IN1 AIO module built in ELRS 2.4GHz EP receiver and OpenVTX
I ended up returning the separate receiver because this combined one has exactly the same parameters, the same chips and the same external antenna for the receiver and the same VTX antenna.

@@jamesbond2905 Try speedybee tx800 or HGLRC Zeus. More cheaper but less range, HGLRC Zeus nano, that i have used for racing drone
What I want is a long format in depth video of how to build a drone without your recommend parts like an engineering level of understand as to why certain parts go together, why certain parts don't go together and If you can teach the fundamentals of good drone builds vs "buy this" and "do that." If we can teach a man to build good drones and not just give him a drone/parts that are sold out. (You know the whole if you teach a man to fish, feed him for a lifetime mantra.)
thank you for this
I needed this video yesterday!!! Just replicated this build but with a vista. Has a hard time getting the huge cap to fit behind with the vista. Remote mounted it instead
Flip the ESC 180 -- remap motors, DONE.
Thx
Oh yeah i've benn waiting for this!
I’ve been waiting for this, gg man
Awesome video as usual. Now good luck (to us) finding all the parts mentioned, particular v5. I am going to fall back to ali and wait one month :D
a long time i have searched for this Video!!!! I Love it !!!! Thank you sooo much!!!! The Only way to Fly drone is you build it self !!!💗💗💗💗💗
Yes
@@bearwolffish thank you
I had a lot of fun when I used a speedy bee f4 v3 because the esc blew up on me and many other people said it happened to them too that’s probably why they put a heatsink on the v4 so if you do build this it might be worth the investment to go with the v4
Speedybeef has a nice ring to it.
Just ordered everything and I cant wait to get into this hobby. I ended up going with an Ethix Mambo and I noticed you had an extender. I may want to get one of those at some point. Could you provide a link to yours? Thank You!
New to this hobby so really appreciate this. And yes most of the stuff is out of stock now. haha!
Clean build dude
This is the kind of video I like. Building great things. That test flight gave me anxiety though.
Great job!
Build video yesssssssss
Great video, very informative and New to the hobby. how far from the transmitter/controller can this fly? I live in a wooded area, would that have any effect on its performance/controls?
Im just buying the parts fir this. Hopefully my first fpv build goes well!!
Great tutorial 🎉
So freaking cool!!!!
+1 & WELL Done Man !
Yo this is amazing content so much detail I thought it be a 10min video skipping everything
Troncat YOU ARE THE BEST! Thank you sooo muchh
Whatever dude that was a clean video! Oh the build is clean and tidy too
I was thinking for some time to get myself a drone but this video encouraged me to build my own. Thank you very much for this video. Just one question, maybe I missed it when you mentioned range of this drone for that build?
Sick Video!
hey could you also share the details on :
1. which remote controller to buy & connect to the reciever
2. how to connect the analog goggles and which one to buy , and on what basis must we buy?
I'm a complete noob on this , but i will be interested to build this , if yu couldd guide a bit more on this . thankyou so much overall the video is amazing
Such an amazing and informative video.
made me go back to drone stuff.
I am planning to by almost the same kit which is being offered online in Europe, except the motors are different.
I have a Graupner MX-16 and a Flysky fs i6s transmitter, I am wondering if its possible to connect those to the FC.
I would appreciate a guidance.
Just got done building a drone based off this. Not at all budget because I went with an O3 setup. Thank you again for making such a helpful and easy to follow tutorial. I wound up needing to relocate the capacitor because of course the VTX for the O3 is much larger, so I wired that then placed it at the front. Everything else was fairly easy, and of course the O3 was plug and play effectively.
One question if you have time please. I set DSHOT to 600 as you indicate, but after saving out it keeps on moving back to 300. No idea if this is a bug or maybe 600 isn't actually compatible and I didn't see it in your video so it goes back to 300?
Again, loved this video, and love your channel. Thank you. I gotta get a couple of TPU parts for this baby to keep the antenna secure, then it will be time for a flight test!
Can you add some links to the head unit ? over nice job I enjoy watching an understanding the process.
spur of the moment fixation looking for this kind of content. crazy in depth explanation much appreciated, any suggestions for a better viewpoint cam?
I see the static and lower quality of what I would see and know that's the only thing I would want better almost immediately is that an analog thing?
Hi, thanks for these videos, i am new to fpv and thinking of building a drone but i am not sure about how to pair the headset and also which headset and controller you recommend, thanks
Thank you very much for this video. I am learning so much.
Regad's Geir🤩🤩🤩
Nice clean build.
Love the video! But!!! Could have used this yesterday!😂 pretty much did the exact set up parts wise.
nice motor wiring :) my style of soldering motor wiring and motor wire protection nice job i like it :)
this is a really good drone build and i want video with a o3 air unit for this build.
i mean yeah the air unit is gonna cost the same price as the drone but it will be a massive upgrade
I enjoy your video and decided to build a fpv by my own! But I wonder how long this drone will last flying and can I improve the battery?
Nice job
So cool!!
Fantastic video👍👍👍👍
i'm brand spankin' new to FPV. I recently got a DJI Avata to introduce me into the FPV world and currently looking around for really simple, budget friendly ways to build my first FPV. I appreciate the step by step process you made! Would you say this is a more beginner friendly drone to build as a first drone coming from someone that has no experience? Or are most builds generally the same process?
I've watched this for a couple years now and still have never bought / built / flown a drone. It's still so cool!
Quick question, this doesn't include a battery? If I included goggles, controller etc what am I looking at cost wise?
Man that’s a fantastic video.
Totally new to drones. I like the idea of putting together my own. Question regarding the remote ID requirement. Is that built into this, or is that a separate part I'd need to add? If it's already embedded, what part handles that?
Can you do a video of changing the vista or the air unit's camera?
I don't like my nebula nano
Very nice Video! But i know the question sounds maybe a little bit dumb but can i use the drone with the dji v2 goggles?
