Thanks you for the presentation. Very practical . I am going to take two Grape saplings and one Blue berry from US West Coast all the way to India to my native home town on the hills . That is 18 hrs of flight including a small transit time plus another 6 hours before they reach the destination . Let’s see how they survive . I will see to that to ensure they have a comfortable stress free journey and happy new home . Plants are like your pets they need more care, love and attention than the pets and if you really ‘listen’ to them you can hear they communicating with you . Thanks once again .

Do you need to have a phytosanitary certificate issued by the National Plant Protection Organization of the country you are leaving indicating the plants are free of pests and diseases ?
Do you need the permit PQ 587 application?
How many plant they allowed you to bring? Thank you

I am trying to find a safe way to transport my Dates Seedlings to Arizona from Kenya. I hear they shouldn’t have sand or bugs (lol) on them. So I’ll have to wash them, pat them dry, get a damp paper towel around them then place them in a clear plastic and hope they’ll survive the two days transit in my carry-on.

@@vdhillon5540 Hey, were you successful with your plant travels? I am planning to travel to Bahrain with saplings of my plants

@@affectionatevirgo I didn’t being any saplings or seeds. I took from US to Dubai. Nobody ask me anything. But few days back i came to US. US immigration ask me if I’m carrying any plants or seeds with me. All i have was few cuttings of neem plant in my checked bag. I’m in Georgia. Dogs were sniffing on the airport. Was very scared. Even i have fresh dates from Dubai with seeds. I told them i got dry fruit with me from dubai. So be careful if you have plants.Cut all the leaves. Wash plant thoroughly from roots. Make sure no soil in the plants wrap in the couple of wet towel papers and out it in black plastic bag.
