    In this week's video I show you how I package my plants safely to send out to customers, along with some ways you can make them look pretty when gifting plants! 🌿
    Packaging plants for shipping can be slightly tricky, and I've learnt from experience that certain methods are more effective than others. This has been the most effective way I've found (and I've tried a lot of ways) and doesn't require any specialised "plant boxes". Seeing as it's almost Christmas, as well as simply packing the plant, I show you how you can very easily make it look nice and pretty. Because plants can be hard to wrap conventionally... Right?
    Earlier this week I asked you to send in some anonymous houseplant confessions! Thank you to all of you who sent some my way - they had me absolutely cracking up and I've included some of them in this video 😂 There were a few that weren't 'appropriate' to read out in this video (but I still absolutely loved them) so thank you for sending them in. KEEP THEM COMING as I'd love to include some more in future videos!

    Great video! I wonder if you could help: I made a pumpkin with succulents and wonder how to pack it for shipping so that the succulents won’t break. Thanks! :)

    How can these plants can live without water or light in shipping days or if they being returned back to us in weeks?? thanks for your video! Looking forward to your answer

      Thanks for the question! I only tend to ship plants within the UK, and they only take 1-2 days to ship, so the time they spend in the dark is only a short period. I always make sure they've had a good water before they go out, so that won't be an issue. If for any reason somebody wants to send something back to me, the same applies, and touch wood I've never had a dead plant come back! ☺️💚

    Where did you find the tall box for shipping?

    thanks for the ideas. I have questions, what is the size of the pot and what is the approximate weight...

    • @TheJungleHaven
      @TheJungleHaven  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      That pot was about 10cm I think, and it must have weighed around 6-7 ounces. I pack much heavier plants too (sometimes multiple ones in the same box along with heavy planters). Just make sure you use a double or triple walled cardboard as it's stronger, and make sure to secure the box well ☺️

    When did you fall in love with plants? I just uploaded a video based on recycled Christmas tree branches

      Ahhh that’s a tough one! I’ve always been such an outdoorsy person and love surrounding myself with nature, but I think the real houseplant obsession started about 5 years ago 😂 Awesome, I’ll check out your video! 💚

    Do you have a return policy? Money back kind of thing? Just curious. Thinking about a plant business myself. I’m in the USA. Thanks in advance

    • @TheJungleHaven

      So my shop's currently closed, but yes I did have a returns policy. I basically just made it clear that all plants will be slightly different as they're living things and natural variation occurs. If somebody ordered a plant and just didn't like it, then they are totally responsible for sending it back (and covering shipping) and once it's back with me in the condition I sent it out in, only then would I reimburse. If it arrived damaged then I would arrange for a courier to collect the plant from them and then I'd send out a replacement 💚

    Hi,
    How long does plants live in packing..

    • @TheJungleHaven
      @TheJungleHaven  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It depends on a few factors such as the time period they're in the box for, the type of plant, and how much the temperature fluctuates. I send my plants out with next day delivery, and if the temperature drops too much I'll include heat pads as well as insulation. They could probably survive for up to a week or so with minimal damage (assuming it's not too cold), but I always like to make sure they get there quickly ☺️🌱
