Most players are casual (self included) and only play 1-3 civs. So while I enjoy your build videos of civs I don't play, it's tough to get super engaged unless it's for one of my 2 civs. But content like this is applicable to all, and you don't see it on YT. Almost everyone has builds. I like yours best so don't stop outright with build content ha, but food for thought. General strategic content has a built in wider appeal and is so valuable because others aren't doing it!
Good Guide! Also fo mention: i realize that most players stop scouting the enemy after they return to their base. Even when they find out what landmark the enemy made. In tramgames uts even worse. So i suggest make multiple scouts as soon as you can afford and scout the enemy all the time while place defensive scouts as well. Too many ganes are losz because they have no idea what the enemy does
This aspect of the game is so important but hard to master as it increases micro, so it is often ignored in low leagues (such as myself haha ) but I see the potential in the future as you are more adaptable than your opponent. Thanks for the amazing guide! I would like to see a guide to Turtling ! as early aggression is really high right now in the meta
Hi Valdemar, thanks so much for the guides/vids! Just a suggestion for tutorial vid topics, I'd love a "trade guide". I.e., how to manage traders (get them to spawn from multiple markets, but all use one market for sugsequent trips", how to select all traders, how to defend trade properly (wall or without such as mongols), how to select all idle traders, etc. Thanks!
Scouting guide I want: For each map: * expected sheep locations * one or two examples, talking through scouting decisions (e.g. "this is king of the hill, so sheep at center and corners of hill; I will run to center, then a corner then clean up 1 side on the way home")
This is a bit off-brand but I have seen you participate in 8 player FFA nomad. This is a game mode I've been loving lately. How many scouts would you start here and should they be created before your first vils when your main TC finishes?
I am looking forward to the hot keys video, i am always curious how the experts are set up. Would also be interested in learning which keyboard and mouse you use.

at 10:47 he is knight archer and you are knu spears. Any reason why you are in the countered composition as opposed to the spear horsemen counter comp?

That is becasue Zhuge Nu do a terrific amount of damage. Horsemen + Spears work too, but Zhuge Nu are more effective in my opinion!

the opponent has knights and archers and tried to kill spearmen with his archers
