I still hope to find an alternative. Seat Concepts Comfort XL costs $600 when ordered from (to) Europe. They charge $100 just for shipping alone. Then import tax + VAT + customs processing fee.
@@motocrad Absolutely. Seat (($359 +10% import tax) +21% VAT) = $478 Shipping (($100 + no import tax)) +21% VAT) = $121 Customs processing fee (per shipment regardless of size/count/value) $23 (VAT included) = $23 Total $622 That individual shipping and import processing adds a lot. Unfortunately they have no central distributor in Europe (or anywhere else) to utilize savings on bulk shipment by sea once or twice a month.

You can only get the entire seat through SC now and that’s $350ish CDN. Anyway find that a bit pricey for something that might only be a little better. Take care and good luck out there.
@@motocrad i am having same exact thing with the 300L... what do you think it is about this stock seat that makes the tailbone get compressed like that? you think it is that the foam is too mushy?
@misterchuck6866 Not sure what causes it, like you say, too mushy and narrow maybe. For me I think the problem started after spending a couple of hours on the motorway.
Thanks, I ordered the same seat red/black so I got to see it on your bike!
Nice one, I hope you like it 😀

Hi, are you sure about it being $600, that is a lot of cash? Website has it at $359, plus $100 shipping. Either way, its a lot of money for a seat 😞

@uralicdneprov1806 That is a lot, it is good, but I wouldn't have said it was worth that sort of money 😞
Padded shorts €15!
Thanks for this - were there any other potential alternatives to Seat Concepts that you came across?
Hi, not that I remember, a few pads for sitting on top of your existing seat, but no complete replacement like this.
More expensive options..
Ordered mine last week. Went with the standard size. Did your weight selection make a difference in the comfort?
Sorry, I'm not sure what you mean. There wasn't a weight option when I got mine.

Once the factory seat breaks in, it’s fine.
The CRF red on the bike is gonna fade anyway so don’t worry about the colour lol!
Then u ain't rode all day long distance.

@alelectric2767 Thanks, mate!
Beauty. Hey ur tailbone better???
A lot better, thank you. I wouldn't say it's totally cured, but this seat and a modification to the KTM have certainly made it easier to live with.

@@motocrad from another video i saw, it may be that the mushiness makes you come into contact with the actual pan on regular riding over small bumps
