Beautiful result, Sam! Do you ever use the geometry view when positioning your reflection planes? Will allow you to keep seeing what the reflections will look like in at the final camera angle, while moving the planes around. Just a small tip :)
@@esbenoxholm Hahaha, my geometry view ends up docking in the side and removing my material and setting widgets every time I try to position it in a way so I can see my scene. Small-screen-problems.
Love what u do for us the product design amateurs!! more keyshot and more portfolio tips and reviews pleease! Thanks Sam :) Support from the Basque Country😃
@@SamDoesDesign In a month or so I'll finish my 3 year portfolio at the university, would you mind if I send it to you?? It would be just awesome and super helpful getting some feedback from an actual designer as you are!! Appreciate your colse relagionship with your subs :)
Finally, a Keyshot walk through that makes sense! If you're up to it, uploading your customized scene would be very much appreciated (: anyways, great video!
Keyshot newby here, how do you set up those walls, ive tried to do so myself to customize my lighting instead of using the basic environments but you seem to go through the walls when zooming in and i cant seem to do so myself, thanks
If people are inspired to check out some photography videos on youtube then I can recommend some of Karl Taylor's older videos th-cam.com/video/Yugf_8TeJgI/w-d-xo.html or Workflo has quite a few product shoots based around simple lighting setups th-cam.com/users/DustinDolby

Thank you so much! I’m still trying to get into the habit of using the geometry view. Sometimes it feels like I need a bigger screen
@@SamDoesDesign True. A big screen is needed for that kinda setup.

Could you share the file?
Hi Sam great video, what is the music playing in the end of the video it's excellent
Great job, Sam!
Thank you!
Awesome again... more would be Awesome. How do you model product?
Thank you! I modelled the scene mostly in Solidworks, and added a few extra planes in Keyshot
Great, thank you!
Amazing.
What product is he using to render?
hey! Sam thanks to share what u have. I would like to know how to set pot material or clay material in keyshot for render. have good day
Thank you! I’d use the same method as the cement here but using different jpeg textures to get the right clay finish
Very very very Niiiice!
Thank you so much!
congratulations you are very fast. I did not understand anything.
Looks amazing! Perhaps you could take some of our models and render them for us?
Thank you so much! That’s a great idea!
Again Sam! Super informative and useful, thank you very much. I would love if you could give some quick tips of how you organize your files.
Thank you so much! I definitely need to get better at organising files
Still Not in the store
I won’t be putting all of the models on the store but I’ll let everyone know when I do!
@@SamDoesDesign We don't want the light we want the test scene so we can learn how to set up lights for testing our selfs.
Hey!
One question, Wich softaware do you use for modeling?
Thanks
Hey! I use Solidworks for modelling
@@SamDoesDesign Thanks! :)
Sick vid!! but slow it down a tad, making a tutorial needs to be slow enough for beginners (like moi) to keep up!
Played it at 0.75 speed.
Good video though!
You are showing very slowly! Faster-faster!!!!
Learned nothing....too fast. Struggling just to catch the mouse
Am here bruvh
Welcome!

faster, please.
You should learn 3Ds max It puts Keyshot to shame... & allows animation.
Keyshot has animations as well. It’s the program that has been available to me at university and then at work
@@SamDoesDesign It's the same for me, but I did an Internship & the used 3D max, tends to be the standard for the industry I guess?
It depends which software the individual company has bought into
Lol. Keyshot a renderer. 3ds a modeling tool
i give you thumbs down cuz you made me so much confused, shame on u sir
