Don Rickles outlived all of his contemporaries making it to 90 yrs old. He performs his act right up to the very end. He was before my time and I discovered him thanks to TH-cam a couple of yrs before his death. Since then I have watched many of his acts on TH-cam and laugh every time.

This is priceless comedy money can't buy. Don Rickles was a class act comedian and Johnny Carson was hilarious also. It was a good time in life and I am blessed that I lived it.
Way back in the 80s, me and my new bride went to see Rickles at the Golden Nugget in Vegas. The tickets weren't cheap, but we never laughed so much in all our lives. He was incredibly hilarious! 😂
When I have a bad day I just get back here to watch Rickles and Carson telling stories and cracking jokes at each other. I could hear this guys all day long.

My favorite part is right at the end when Jhonny congratulates Don and calls his appearance as "hot". What a great feeling must it have been to be praised by Carson himself.

This is REAL comfort food for the soul! As a kid living in Lancaster, PA the news came on at 11 pm. Then at 11:30 The Tonight Show. Of course, I needed to get to bed, but I always remember sneaking a few minutes with Johnny Carson. Fond memories. But kudos to all who have commented. As I watch this, tears are running down my face. So DAMN funny! True comedy genius. I doubt that there will ever be another Johnny Carson.
Watching in 2020, seems like yesterday I was a kid watching these episodes. God Bless them. This is class for all the folks who don't know much about these guys. I give anything to see a tonight show with this much class, God just give us one.
I watch it again in 2019 and I´m actually angry. Angry that this is the past that won´t come back. Angry that I didn´t enjoy these shows enough while I could. Angry that there is nothing today that comes even a little bit close to this kind of entertainment or characters or class in general in this world of ours.
