I’m a Brit and until about 6 months ago I knew nothing about Don Rickles. Discovered him on You Tube and can honestly say he’s the funniest guy I’ve ever seen.
Back in the day, everybody could do everything. You had to. The Marx Brothers could all sing and dance better than any major singer today... and they were comedians. It was a totally different era, you had to be multi-talented.

Im 57 and not ashamed to say his passing brought tears to my eyes as did parts of this video, so many decades and so many laughs I enjoyed from Don with my family and friends. Hes a one of a kind comedy Icon who like many of the old guard whose kind will never be seen again. Seeing him sing at the end really got to me as I know what a warm hearted guy he was in real life, and that's why very few were offended by his humor. I only wish I could say I was lucky enough to be zinged by the one and only Don Rickles, it would truly have been a badge of honor. May God bless you Don, we all love you RIP.

Thank you for this video. Don Rickels was the absolute best. It pains me so that we lost such a talented, caring man, but I am grateful that we were able to experience his particular brand of humor for as long as we did.
I love how he always ended with blessings. His blessings were always so sincere.
Nobody quicker in stand up comedy. His "insults" were gold. The best part? Everyone was in on the gag! They knew, at the end of the day, Rickles was a kind, caring, loving man. And I had NO IDEA he could sing!

I've been tubing Don "Mr. Rickles " since he passed, and he is by far one of the funniest stand ups ever! A lot of racial remarks, but all was game! It amazed me how much respect Howard showed, just the fact that he was standing during the interview, shows how much admiration he had for this true legend! Mr. Rickles is indeed the GOAT!

I think the best line I've ever heard about Don was there are thousands of funny people and hundreds of comedians but only one Don Rickles. a truer line isn't available for the man Ty for making this video
Don Rickles was always brilliant.
He roasted Scorsese, De Niro and others thoroughly. He kissed Sinatra (on more than one occasion).
He broke Carson's cigarette box. He had Tyler Perry and Tracey Morgan laughing.
And lo and behold, not a hurtful slap (I'd call Carson's gesture a mild tap) to be seen anywhere...
