    After visiting the Mekong myself I was so impressed with how resourceful the people that live there are. To be able to make an entire economy based around a freaking coconut just blew my mind.

    OMG, that Fried Elephant Ear Fish in that little wrap looks delicious. I wonder if they can make that here in America!? Some fish sauce, a few chillies, and keep eating wraps! YUM! I want to go to Vietname to try all of this food too now.

    If I remember correctly the inner layer of the candy wraps are made of rice paper so you can actually eat that to prevent your fingers tapping into the stickiness of the candy.

    I think I'd have stayed on that hammock on the boat and sleep the day away. That's totally me. Until I see that fish. First saw it on Sonny's channel years ago and loved the presentation and how it's served. And I'm like you, I see kitchen gadgets and tools, I have to have every single one (every version and iteration is needed!)

    "Chuột đồng" I mean, these are rats that live naturally in fields or gardens in Vietnam. The most delicious meat dish in Vietnam and high nutritional content. You can eat bones. There is no waste.

    Phở, Bánh Mì, gỏi cuốn,. V.v still has so many mix vegatable in there. And our soup has carrot, onion, bla bla vegan you can see, because vegatable, fruits are main delicious in our food. 😁👍. Wish you has good meal

    Thank you so much Max, I'm from Ben Tre but now live far from my hometown. Really miss my hometown. Coconut candy you do not need to rush to chew because it is quite sticky. Usually we enjoy letting it melt in the mouth without sticking to the teeth which would be so much fun. Really looking forward to your new video, I'm already subscribed!🙂

    MAC ăn cá tai tượng chiên xù lần sau nhớ ăn cả vảy cá nha. Cái đó mới là phần ngon nhất đó, giòn tan nhai nghe rụm rụm luôn đó Mac ơi. Bến Tre là quê ngoại của mình. Nhớ quá.

    That's a giant gourami.... native to South East Asia.... in North America.... we had them as pet not as food.... hehehe
    Just so you know.... they fried it alive.... freak me out when I saw the cook drop it in the fryer.... I couldn't eat it after that.... I have one in fish tank back in Canada
    Ben Tre is awesome.... swamped with the locals kids by the river.... preferred to visit Vietnam countryside.... the norther you go the more beautiful it gets
