Wow, she looks absolutely gorgeous! It's so nice to see a caring side of the male consultant here; in previous videos of this series people have really been ragging on him quite a bit in the comment section. What he did is so sweet!

The boss suggested the dress, knowing it's what she wanted, he knew what he was doing. He is the designer and the host.

A Malaysian here. Our wedding dress comes in many different colours, not exclusive to only white, but yeah white is often the chosen colour but not considered as traditional as in the western. In fact I get where most of you're coming from, given the fact that this video looks old, it considered as wedding dress at that point of time. If it were for now, we probably get to see the guest wearing similar dress coming to the wedding.

I love this version of the show, the consultants are fun and the dresses are different from the usual fare. This is the first time I've seen them put a bride in an over-budget dress, so maybe they only did that because they knew her personally and were willing to comp the difference. She looked stunning in that second dress with the gold leaves on the sleeves, but the one she chose was unique and lovely too.
She looks amazing in every single pick, there isn't much that wouldn't look good on her, she is stunning and her boss is amazing xoxo

Loved the dress. Not another white, sweetheart neckline mermaid style, that's for certain. The boss was also smart and not just kind to step in and help.
I'm pretty sure the boss already knew he was going to pay the balance for her before they pulled the dress.

@7 minutes: The champagne dress is about $2,000 usd ( currency conversion rate ) - since that was double their budget, her boss offered to cover the extra - which was approx $1,000
I'm glad her boss gave her a generous "employee discount." I'd have worried if he didn't give some kind of price break.

She is gorgeous, every dress she tried looked good on her, but the final dress was stunning on her. Plus I do think her former boss, or actual boss knew he would give her at her budget. What a nice gesture to do, he is a nice man to do so.

to be honest peplum dress usually seen as a weeding dress for weeding reception especially for malay bride, and most of them made in songket and topup with traditional accessories... although it is made with different material, for us malaysian it is a weeding dress.. for non-malaysian it could be seen as dinner dress 😅 i see lot of comment that said it don't pass as a weeding dress ... so yeahh just want to let you know, peplum dress is very famous and seen as one of the weeding dress here 😉

It's nice to see really unique dresses. The second one made with traditional fabric, for instance, is stunning, but the dress she chose was gorgeous and it's nice the boss picked it with the intention of covering the difference over her budget, otherwise it would've been really awful to even show it to her!

I hope she didn’t settle for that old tablecloth on her head. It looks horrible in a different colour, style and material.The dress is beautiful, but it seems very matronly in the dark champagne. As long as the bride loves it, no other opinion matters.

That’s such a kind boss ❤I liked the way the first dress looked on her but it wasn’t what she wanted. The second dress was gorgeous but I liked it from the chest up I felt like the bottom didn’t match the golden sleeves. The third dress she just seemed so happy and I’m glad she stuck to what she wanted ❤

She looks good in everything but none of them looked like wedding dresses to me. Maybe this dress was for a civil wedding and the traditional wedding will have more traditional and cultural bridal attire.
Ivory and gold is to yellow for her skin tone. Go either white, stone, champagne or blush.

Does this version of STTDD have a formula? The bride tries on 3 dresses and always chooses the 3rd dress. I personally preferred the 2nd dress, it looked stunning. The 3rd dress is beautiful, but I felt that the colour and fabric looked more mature.
They proposed beautiful dresses. She looked stunning and more bridal on the first dress, though, so that would have been my pick.

i'm so confused. that fabric is not champagne, it's more like a taupe. it doesn't meet up in the back correctly, and what is with the blue mesh underneath?! and they still put a WHITE veil on her, talk about clashing. i really hope she didn't walk down the aisle looking like that. :(
