Yeah my mom got married in one and i think they are soooo pretty!!
My wedding dress was also black k and white. It had a black hem a cross the top in front with beading on the bodice and in the front of the gown and then a black ribbon corset back then led into two stripes of black down the back and through the train with gorgeous beading in between the two stripes it was absolutely stunning. I was even able to find complimentary brides maids gowns that were black with a white hem across the top of their dresses. I got so many compliments on my wedding day on how beautiful the dresses were and how well the complimented each other. I felt so beautiful that day!
I think a white dress with high-quality black appliqués is so much nicer than an all-black dress (for a wedding).
That first dress is gorgeous!
I love the first dress! It still had some traditional elements with that little bit of surprise with the black beading and the illusion back. It really looked great on her and I'm glad she got it

Probably because that was the only dress in the store that had those black details built-in. It's not exactly a super common look, which is why they kept adding different black ribbons to the other dresses
Allison Bach I get that they wouldn’t have a wide variety of black dresses since not many people want that look, but I really don’t think that was the only one they had. I’ve seen more in some of their other videos. Or sometimes the same dress comes in different colours, and they only have one colour in store, and the bride can try it on to see the fit and then order whatever colour they want. I feel like they didn’t try hard enough

Just because she likes them doesn't mean they're not cheesy. That said, she is certainly free to ignore comments. The best thing about the dress she chose was it played down that circus clown chain of stars across her neck.
Nah they're right. My tattoos are super cheesy. Which is why I love them. They're nothing fancy and don't have super artistic flair to them, and that's fine with me. But they still have meaning. At least I can honestly say I don't have a tramp stamp 🤣

I've been binge watching say yes to the dress and let me just say, her mom is super cool about the black. She knows what her daughter wants and is supportive of it. I love that.
On a rainy day, watching a zillion of these ("just ONE more...") - it's so refreshing to see a mom so supportive of an untraditional dress. She clearly accepts everything about her daughter and it's so nice to watch.
This is one of the best. The mom was so supportive and wasn’t rude. Like she loved the dress just as much as her daughter.

My personal choice was the light pink. The pink hair and the pink tattoos, just blended together with the gorgeous pink dress. She just plainly looked like a million!
She was too old for that dress. Definitely not her style. That pink dress was made for someone who wanted to be a little girl it honestly sucked on her. We all have fantasies we also have to look at the person she's not a Young Bride pretending that she's a princess or we're trying to move back the clock she looked awesome in fitted gowns she had a great body she had the height to pull it off and one has to look at how a person is built and she was right the pink just buried her just even that other white one was a bit too fluffy. This one was very stately and that's really kind of what she's like if you notice the dress she came in and was in a line straight dress she's not a fruit Frou Frou girl

Surprisingly they are very respectful of budgets on the US version of Say to the Dress as well, unlike the UK version.

Also I'd really like to point out in the 6 hours we filmed this, they took pretty much every comment I made about being "edgy" or wanting my tattoos to show and rolled it into 7 minutes. Nevermind everything else I talked about or the comments my friends made or the interview they did with my mom..."Let's make her the 'edgy' bride." 🙄🤣

Maybe she could cover the stars that are under the black lace with concealer so they don't clash. And then use colored makeup on the stars on the other side to make them more vibrant under the tulle.

You don't think anywhere in Milwaukee would have what you're looking for?! Did she even try the stores on Mitchell Street? We have a street that has about 10 bridal shops in less than a mile lol. It's literally 5 mins from their venue!
Edit: I was on a major budget for my wedding and bought my dress at Penneys for $80. It was a pinky white dress with black lace layover and if I could go back in time with the money I could spend now, I would still choose it!
