Proof that a bride doesn't need to bring a whole village with her to choose her dress. Just two very important and supportive people in her life is enough :)
Yep. It was just my mom and my best friend with me when I chose my dress. And it was always about what I wanted to try and what I wanted to choose. Not "some of us want..." This or that.
but also remember there are more than just 2 people who are important to a bride. For example when my sister went to go get her wedding dress, she brought my mom, me, my sister, her mil and sil and it was so much fun.
The mum was a hoot. And she was right about the other dresses, even if she had an unusual way of describing what she didn’t like. A lovely family and a beautiful bride.
This mom is not what I was expecting, she's kind when she talks about the dresses on her daughter. She's so thoughtful, and I love it. She's so kind hearted and her hearts in the right place. I love mom's like this. She's honest but kind about it
the mom may be eccentric, but this girl is consistently referring to herself with a pluralis majestatis... I'd say eccentricity runs in the family here... 😅
is it rude for me to maybe think that the mum is on the spectrum? i don’t mean this in any negative way! she’s very creative and i enjoyed her personality. i was just wondering if maybe she way
Her mother held back what she truly felt so her daughter could make the decision, not her. Then she did what every mother should and she embraced her daughter's choice.
That was the most caring, controlling Mother I have ever seen. Such a beautiful dynamic between the mother and daughter, and what a wonderful mother-in-law; so supportive without judging the mother. These three women are going to have a blast together when there are kids born into the family..
Mom was definitely not afraid of speaking her mind, but she was also right most of the time and never said it in a hurtful way which I think is so important
So many comments about her Mom, but I actually liked and appreciated her way of "sensing", of describing things as having an energy about them. I understand about the one dress she describes as being exhausting. She's also sweet and sensitive, I think and feel like she and her daughter have a beautiful bond. Maybe a little intense but means well.
It was interesting to see the mother-daughter dynamic in this one. Mom is a little eccentric, but she means well; daughter wants a dress that makes her happy (naturally!) but is very respectful of her mother's feelings and intuition. And what a sweet future mother in law! Nice family.
I liked the mother and daughter bond. The mother noticed how the bride liked the dress and she changed her mind. Let´s be honest, the bride didn´t look really excited in the other dresses and I guess the mother noticed it.
This is how a mom who loves her daughter reacts, not like other "mothers" I've seen on the show, she had her own ideas but she cared about what her daughter wanted too
How wonderful and beautiful is the bride? How much does she get her Mum with such a beautiful bond? How amazing was it that the mother-in-law was just there embracing and accepting? 🥰
I’m glad I gave the MOB a chance and kept watching, because she’s a supportive, unique, loving mum and I found myself agreeing with many things she said! 😂❤
What a sweet family and lovely bride. To those who make critical remarks about people's personalities, please remember that the people involved may read your hurtful remarks. And your comments say more about you than the person you are criticizing.
I think we should be kind to the mother. We don’t know anything about her and she probably was suffering some kind of nervous tension. Her daughter is beautiful and her mother in law to be is very kind and supportive to both of the other women.
@@leoniephillips8781I was thinking that or ADHD. My sister in law has ADHD, and the way the mom described the one dress as being overwhelming and exhausting is exactly how my sister in law would describe patterns that are too busy and visually overstimulating.
What a wonderful dynamic between the mom, future mother-in-law and bride. This is a supportive family. The bride's dress was perfect for her; she's beautiful.
Nice job Anne! She knew exactly when into chime in to support the last dress and win the mom over! And because she kept to herself and let mom’s words shine for most of the consultation, mom was all ears for her input. THIS is how women work together.
I was so shocked to find out how funny and nice the mom was about the dresses she didn't like and how she asked how her daughter felt about the dress. We need to see more moms like this on this show.
Mom is a wonderful character but shout out to MIL too- she is so supportive and not overbearing and controlling. That's the kind of MIL I wish I had and hope to be someday.
lol this is an example of how autism is definitely a spectrum! I’m autistic & people like this drive me a little crazy (not because they’re not nice just the extra-ness). But you can see that she really loves her daughter ❤❤❤ P.S I know they never said she was on the spectrum but it’s fairly obvious
That bride is simply beautiful, such a unique beauty!!! I’ve never seen anyone even remotely look like her, she has such gorgeous features. I think it’s the almond eyes and dimples….and this comming from a straight woman.
There are so many funny quotes I could pull from this video. 😂 Mom is comedy gold! MIL is also gold for stepping up for the bride and winning mom over.
The first dress was stunning. Modesty really had nothing do with it; the Mum's thing was all about "energy" and "vibes". I just hate misleading video titles.
The dress she was so ready to try on that she saw over and over again on the website (5:20) is NOT the dress she wore (no long sleeves, not a ballgown).
yes! but I thought i was the only who thought this because there were no comments about it lol I was like uhm.........are we missing a chunk of the actual episode lol 😂😂😂
I like how after the bride’s mom felt like she said too much too quickly with the second dress, she made sure to ask how her daughter felt on the third dress before making any comments. Dream entourage fr
Mother you have to remember that this is your daughter’s wedding day not yours. The bride should pick a dress that she feels beautiful and comfortable. Mom don’t spoil her day.
I will now be using the "I don't like the energy" excuse for all the social engagements I want to get out of.
I’m going to use it at work.
😂😂
Me too! 😂💖
its not you, or your partner, its the material you chose
👌

Yep. It was just my mom and my best friend with me when I chose my dress. And it was always about what I wanted to try and what I wanted to choose. Not "some of us want..." This or that.
It was just my Mom who went with me. I didn't want to invite a bunch of people and my husband's family because they are very opinionated.😂😂
My niece took her mom and best friend/MOH with MIL getting photo text updates. All she wanted and all she needed.
Yep! I brought my 2 best friends and my daughters. My daughters didn't have much to say because they were only 5, but it was wonderful to have them

Agree!
Tru even though the second dress wS GORGEOUS..IT Was too much to tk in
@@uk4482 it was really beautiful but kinda gives off matronly vibes. maybe not for a young bride
Exactly my thoughts lol.
Cracking me up - “I don’t like the energy it’s bringing” 😂😂

She also kept an open mind. She had an idea of what she wanted (not too much skin) but was open to interpreting that in many ways.
The mom may be a little eccentric, but she’s not unkind.

They’re different and I’m feeling it 😂

Can this mom just be in every single episode as the narrator!!
Like she’s amazing 🤩
Mom was definitely not afraid of speaking her mind, but she was also right most of the time and never said it in a hurtful way which I think is so important
Mom is like a SNL skit and I mean that in the cutest of ways. She's adorable. This bride is so sweet and her mother-in-law is so supportive ❤

I agree! We expect the bride to get a “feeling” when it’s the right dress. Mom was doing the same thing.
I actually loved the first dress. It was simple, the shape was incredible and the way the fabric was draped was special.
It seems to me that the mother is atypical in some kind of way, her daughter understands her, and they love each other very much.
Well said. ♥
I picked up on the same thing with mama ❤
I see it too, lovely how they communicate
The mom is definitely neuro divergent. I totally get where she's coming from.
I clocked that instantly.
That mom is hilarious! She marches to her own drummer. She's great. :) Gorgeous bride.
It was interesting to see the mother-daughter dynamic in this one. Mom is a little eccentric, but she means well; daughter wants a dress that makes her happy (naturally!) but is very respectful of her mother's feelings and intuition. And what a sweet future mother in law! Nice family.
I love that mom! Breath of fresh air and funny too.
Nobody is talking about how kind her mother in law is ❤❤❤❤
I really feel like Mom sacrificed her own feelings for her daughters sake...and that's so sweet!
💜🖤💜
the first dress was a stunner - so classy and beautiful
I liked the mother and daughter bond. The mother noticed how the bride liked the dress and she changed her mind. Let´s be honest, the bride didn´t look really excited in the other dresses and I guess the mother noticed it.
The mother-in-law, very sweet, respectful and wise!!

She looked great in the first, very simple gown
I agree!
Yep - most flattering for her body type, and elegnt
Exactly. @@lukeloova4706
Could have added an embellishment to it. The dress suited her body best.
it looked great on her, but I agree that it was just a little boring. Then the next dress was detail overload lol!
The look on the bride's MIL when the mom was describing the 'energy' of the fabric was priceless LOL
Personally I loved the first dress and how it fit. All it needed was a sparkly belt and some jewelry.
me too.. i like the first one
It was far superior..
Same!!! I really didn’t like the dress she chose. I didn’t think it was as flattering as the first.
But she’s the one who has to love it!
The look on the mother in law's face when she was going on about the dress's energy!
The mom was eccentric but in a funny way. The way she described the dresses were right though after she explained it haha

Mom is hilarious. She’s also kind.
Her mom is clearly an empath (me too), so energy is how we interact with the world. So glad she supported her daughter’s choice:)
Wow, she looks beautiful in that last dress. Glad her mother was supportive of her choice.
Mum needs to be hired to do dress commentary 😂😂
I liked the mom, and she was right.
I think we should be kind to the mother. We don’t know anything about her and she probably was suffering some kind of nervous tension. Her daughter is beautiful and her mother in law to be is very kind and supportive to both of the other women.

What a wonderful dynamic between the mom, future mother-in-law and bride. This is a supportive family. The bride's dress was perfect for her; she's beautiful.
The mom is clearly on the spectrum. No filters, hypersensitive, but very loving and caring.
They got the title all wrong. It should be ‘Loving eccentric mother puts her feelings aside to let daughter choose her dream dress’
Nice job Anne! She knew exactly when into chime in to support the last dress and win the mom over! And because she kept to herself and let mom’s words shine for most of the consultation, mom was all ears for her input. THIS is how women work together.
Her mom is hilarious
That first dress--her body looked stunning! It was my favorite of them all. I adored all three ladies. A very respectful, entertaining episode.
At first I thought “oh, mum, shut up, this is not about you”. But then, her comments were so on point. She is lovely.

Brides mom was hillarious. Her descriptions were so different and funny.
She was great.
She looked beautiful in all the dresses. Her mom is a little strange but she was not rude. The MIL is a gem.

Double-sided tape prevents lots of disasters!
Love the mother/ daughter and mother-in-law vibe. All beautiful women and great bridal gown choice.
The mum is on another level. I like her.❤
The mother in law is spot on. It’s a plunging neckline but it’s not revealing anything.

This beautiful girl looked fabulous in every dress.
bride is stunninnnm
No matter how politely the mom voices her opinion. She needs to remember it's the bride who's wearing the dress, not her.
She did.
You need to remember that the bride brings people to the appointment for their opinions.
And her mother is buying the dress for her as well, like thousands of dollars

Go mum.....opening your heart is the way to go❤❤❤❤❤
Even though it didn’t work for her, I LOVED the third dress with the flutter sleeves.
I loved the 2nd dress. I think she looked beautiful
The mother-in-law just doesn’t know what to say whenever the mum says something. 😅
That mother was off her rocker.
A bit of a space cadet.
@@LDee-tc6ck, I was gonna say the same thing😅😅😅😅

She might be psychic and that's her way of describing things.
Oh geeze

The mom gave honest feedback! I liked the first dress a lot.
The poor mother in law😂

The mom is a piece of work.
I love the dark hair on the bride so complimentary to the wedding gowns
Wow, the first dress was perfection ❤❤❤❤❤
What mom describes as a energy which most of us would say feel.
What a lovely mother ❤
Ok, no I myself am being ‘that mom.’ 😬 I prefer the first dress! Custom add some bling if you must, but keep the dress (preferably as is).
The first dress was perfect and they didn’t even try a sparkly belt to try and bring up the detail.
The mom is friggin crazy! The 2nd dress was spectacular! Wow! She wasn’t unkind just crazy

The mom in law thinks the mom is a nutcase 😂🎉
Nah. She's a hoot. Those two and a bottle of Chardonnay ftw.
Yeah MILs face at 3.35 is hilarious😂😂😂😂
The mom is not crazy, she is neurodivergent, not something g to make fun of of!
She looked lovely. I wasn't too crazy about the 3rd dress but I think she picked the perfect one. It was elegant and tasteful.
The mum cracked me up. I would love to hang out with her, honestly 😂
Mom’s a lot lol. Love the mother in law and the sweet bride
That title did that mom wrong - I saw two lovely ladies supporting the bride
The mother in law thinks this mom is nuts. I’d be slightly concerned for my son.
I get that vibe too 😂
Lucky girl! She has a great mom and a genuinely sweet mother in law. You can tell that she cherishes both of them. ❤
The second dress s jus breathtaking
Mom was a little off but she was right about the dresses 🙂That dress is nice but I love A-line style much more
beautiful bride and the mother is so kind
Love this episode, lovely women here
The bride should follow her heart & have her wedding ceremony held in a place she loves & not where her mother wants it
Her mother is amazing
Loved the first dress - just add a little bling!
I loved dress #1 the best fit
The MIL sitting there and second guessing whether she wants the mother to be part of her family lol
