Hi Bethany, I have recently moved to the USA and 6 months pregnant. No friends and family here and this freaks me out to have a baby without having my family’s support.
For a non native English speaker everything is a challenge even finding names of the baby’s essential needs.
I was watching TH-cam channels to see what should I get for my baby, then I found your channel. I’ve watched many of your videos to learn what to buy and how to be prepared for the baby.
You have no idea how much you helped me to feel more relaxed knowing that there is someone out there that I can learn about motherhood.
When you are new in a country, when you are learning the language even the simplest things are challenging.
This is such a relief for me.
    Thank you Bethany♥️

I'm having my third c section soon and one thing I have learned to have is Stay free long pads to put on my panties to keep my incision protected. My body doesn't like when I get cut and wants to become infected. They have to be Stay free though, the regular cotton onesand not the netted(like most are).

I froze lots of homemade bean and cheese burritos, meatloafs, pasta, and pesto chicken w/ potatoes. I wish I would’ve remembered big undies that would go over my incision. I was happy to have my belly binder and shoes that would fit my giant swollen feet. This time around I’ve almost completely stopped bleeding at almost 4 weeks. My pain was much more this time around, but it made my swelling seem not so bad comparatively 😂. My feet and legs were like balloons both times. I didn’t need the heavy pain meds with my 1st, but absolutely needed them with my 2nd.

Thank you!!! I will go buy multiple size pads. And some diapers just because ive always been a heavy bleeder, S plus tampon with a pad and theyd get full within 4hrs or 2hrs.. 😅 so thinking diapers might be needed due to my genetics.

Yes! Lol I got adult female diapers most absorbent and night time pads also most absorbent. 👍🏻 when things start getting lighter I already have always flex foam heavy flow.

I'm in the same boat. I'm only 1 week out and I'm so grateful that ladies talk about this. In my first C section I was not prepared. and suffered for weeks. Now I'm having a smooth recovery. Thank you Lord Jesus.

@@jadejade5303 No. Just make sure you ask for them to dumb it down or rephrase it if you do not understand what they are telling you, do not be afraid to ask any questions about postpartum care and recovery they may or may not -provide everything you need. you need to speak with hospital and ask what you should bring to the hospital for delievery some dont give you much for yourself and others give you extras,, you got this~~~ i am also trying to pack my bag lol 5weekd to go lol
