I been watching to many baby videos cause my fiance is 3 month pregnant n I'm doing my best to be there n understand all she is gonna go thru and taking care of our baby. But every video I had watch there is no guys asking I was afraid. My excitement to be good with my new soon born is way bigger than be afraid.

Babies are beautiful and so pure, I was blessed with being able to experience my Niece's birth and take care of her with my mom and my brother. Yeah their poo stinks real bad that's so easy to ignore when they're giggling or smiling at you, I love kids.
I just found out that I am 5 weeks and this really is a lifesaver to watch. I have been a little anxious, but this really does help. Thank you. I will definitely be watching more!🥰

Yep. I just had my first child. And I have never had a puppy or anything to take care of either. When she or he is napping if you are not to tired do all the research you can about these cute little bundle of Joy's or when you get pregnant do research or it helps to keep in contact with your family and get their advice that already has kids. My go to family members to ask for advice on my newborn is my 2 cousins and my aunt and my sister.
My first is due in feb .. I feel so unprepared, overwhelmed and stressed thinking about all the things I have to do to keep it alive and ok 🥹 This has helped but just reminds me of what a mountain I will be up against all by myself 🙂 Thank you x

Thanks for being so open and unbiased on the breastfeeding / bottle feeding. So many "traditional" Asian parents here are so hell bent on breastfeeding that when I tell them I don't plan on breastfeeding long, I get criticized, almost as though they're implying I'm going to be a bad mother! 33 weeks now and absolutely can't wait to meet my little nugget!
You will learn pretty quickly that there will be a lot of people who criticize you, family is usually the first to(I am Mexican it’s bad in my culture as well) Where pretty much your success is measured upon how much you survived the struggle. But the same people who criticize, got the same criticism. And guess what ? They also made made mistakes. If not in feeding then in other areas. They are not the perfect parents either 😱 We all make mistakes, no one has it figured out. The beauty of parenthood is learning through your own experience and mistakes. You cannot hurt your baby unless you intentionally try to.
I’m about to have baby #3 and still felt the need to watch some newborn tips lol.. my son is about to be 11 and my daughter is 18 so it’s been forever. Just needed a refresh I guess.. 🤷🏼♀️😄♥️

Please spend time with kids of all ages lol. This is a very short period- you aren’t just having a baby. You’ll also be having a 4, 5, 6 year old. A 14 year old. I’ve worked with so many kids and I feel people never consider this, they just want “a baby.”
@@ElisabethMiller it was wonderful! The spinal was the only part I was nervous about! Your feet get warm and tingling then it travels up your body! Super weird! My recovery wasn’t anywhere near as bad as others had told me (but everyone is different!) the only recommendation I have it COMPRESSION! Compression shorts, underwear, etc! It helps so much! Take things slow and love that little one to pieces! Good luck Mama! ♥️

Just a tip, but placing a heating pad on LOW in their bassinet when you take them out to feed and removing it before returning baby to sleep after a feed can help keep them dozing. Often placing baby back into a cold bassinet after being warm and snug against mom in very jarring and can wake them. ALWAYS make sure bedding is warm and not hot of course! (Not an expert, but a mom of two, a night nanny, then daytime nanny to quintuplets, and grandma of a newborn currently sleeping on my chest. Used this technique for all).

It will be like jumping back on a bike because I was a Maternity Nurse and I also was a pediatric nurse. I first started taking care of a newborn when my brother was born. At age 8, I gave him his first bath at home because my mom was afraid since he was only 5 lbs 12 oz. I had watched my aunt and she taught me so I stepped in to do it for my brother. Therefore, with all of this experience, I know that I'll be fine.
