A newborn that never cries, never poops, never has sickness, never outgrows the beautiful, expensive outfits, never grows up. Just can cuddle and put away. Wonderful therapy. She is bringing joy to so many people and you can't put a price on joy and happiness and Wonderful Art. It must be very fulfilling to bring joy to so many people.
Sounds like someone's running away from real life struggles, that's not therapy. One has to deal with the pain properly so healing may come soon.

Luckily I do have a real newborn baby right now (she's my eighth), but someday when she's older, I'll definitely need one of these 💗
I got one after I lost one of my sons who was born a little early but very unknowingly critically ill (he was my 5th) . It was hard going home empty handed. I found these dolls and bought one. I loved it. I was a huge doll lover all my life :) I bought another reborn because they’re just so amazing and I am waiting on my first high end silicone to finish being painted as we speak! My youngest is 5 and I miss dressing and cuddling a baby and these make it so fun, comforting, and enjoyable ♥️ just so you know…those silicones are the best! A partial silicone is so realistic feeling, they feel exactly like a real baby in your arms 😊
what a positive story and comments! In Russia, reports and videos about reborns come out in a negative way, as if both the master and the buyers are crazy. This makes me very sad, and even though it seems that the presence of reborn at my house is something wrong that needs to be hidden
Not crazy..but..come on..what does it say about a societyy when they have reached the point of having enough extra disposable income that they can choose to spend it on a silicone baby. When they can make a perfect nursery..dedicate a whole room of their house to a piece of plastic...especially when so any babies and mothers in the world do not have beautiful clothes or decked out nurseries?
Why not just gift this baby stuff to a neighbor, aquaintence, stranger or someone who would love and appreciate such a nursery for their baby in real life..but who cannot afford it?

You also have no idea why they buy them it’s no one’s business. It’s also no one’s business what people spend their money on and how they choose to enjoy it. Just because it has to do with “babies” doesn’t mean they have to go help people less fortunate. Your statement is ignorant.
Yeah people do get weird about it and Im sorry people feel like they need to judge! It’s completely wrong and unfair! I look at it this way- Guys play with their cars and collect comics and baseball cards and other things that nobody bats an eye about yet we women are told to put away our dolls and other “toys” and told to grow up. We should be afforded the freedom to enjoy our dolls and toys the same way men do and not be told to grow up or act our age! I take my reborns everywhere with me to normalize it as much as possible for those around me for this reason exactly! I bought my friend who is in her 70s a Poor Pitiful Pearl doll. She had one as a child. I love going to her house and seeing the new items she has purchased or made for her doll. She is forever styling Pearl’s hair and changing her clothes! It’s the coolest thing to get a glimpse of what she was like as a child. Let’s flood the world with our love of dolls or whatever we loved as children! If it brings us joy we should do it without shame! I hope things change for you and you can enjoy your reborn openly! You are not hurting anyone and it’s nobody’s business why you have them or why you enjoy having them! Love it to your heart’s content! 🥰

I’m really looking for one for my anxiety how much do they cost ? I’ve looked at several sites can’t find one?
Are the chemicals okay for your son to breath in ? If he's sleeping near the products/ chemicals/ paints to make the dolls? Also latex can cause breathing problems and anaphylaxis shock. After a while if your son develops an allergy from the dolls ,just curious. And btw they are beautiful dolls. My daughter took me to a ladies house that was selling dolls when my kids were still in elementary school and we bought one of the first lifelike doll from Italy for my daughter's for only 10 bucks at the time .this was a long time ago. And my oldest also had a lifelike newborn when she was born called Hamish.she got from her dads maid. When she was 2. So they are interesting dolls. But I love your dolls I wish I could afford one for me . Haha.

Isnt these baby dolls becoming a barrier for the orphan or abandoned babies getting adopted? Those baby dolls look really cute but the purpose for which they are being made is unreal. If you have lost a baby and going through a trauma then you must consider two things, either you accept the fate and move on or please go adopt a real baby who deserves every right to life, home, parents and siblings. Can you imagine the pain and trauma orphan kids go through? No, i dont think we have any scale to measure that
That’s a _horrible_ thing to say. People who have lost babies or need something to nurture and aren’t in the right condition to adopt a child sre the kind of people these are marketed to.

Umm there is a HUGE difference between having a fake doll and adopting a live child…damn…people start saying the most ignorant comments because people buy reborns. “Why don’t they just adopt”, “why don’t they just give their beautiful baby things to someone less fortunate “…you do know , some people can’t stand kids, listening to them, spending money on them, hearing crying ect…yet, you’d want them to adopt because they can tolerate a doll? K…

I disagree. Something like these babies can give comfort to a woman going through the tramusbof losing a baby. It could be very therapeutic. Don’t get me wrong adoptions is always something to think about but adoption is sometimes an emotional roller coaster because the birth mother has time to change her mind and that can be devastating. I know because that happened to my husband and I. We had a crib and everything in place for a baby. The baby was a boy but the mother decided to keep the baby, then she was going to go ahead with the adoption and then said no she wanted to keep the baby. We couldn’t take her back and forth decisions anymore so told the social worker and the attorney we were done going back and forth so she kept the baby. About a month later we got a call from our attorney saying he had a woman who wanted to place her baby up for adoption. We were lucky and adopted a beautiful baby girl who is now 32?years old. I still want one of these babies though.
This is actually very helpful, especially for mothers who either lost their babies or can't have them. In a sense it could ease their trauma, I'd imagine.
Edit: Yup the video explains this, yet people's first opinion is gonna be this is either creepy/wrong/strange.
It's honestly not creepy at all, even without that context. The realism of them is amazing and obviously requires alot of talent. They are works of art.

They should really consider using these artists to create babies for films (ie. that really terrifying fake baby in Twilight or obvious doll In American Sniper)
There are artists, who created "babies" for tv shows and movies.

I learned by watching how to make reborn videos here on TH-cam! There are a lot of great videos and if I can offer words of wisdom, don’t use cheap paint or second hand dolls while learning. I wish I could show you my first 2 reborns! They scare people! 😂

is there any kind of savety insurance etc. if that precious and expensive reborn baby gets stolen by porch pirates? Ive seen a lot of this worse thing happen.....and imagine you pay thousands of dollars for baby and it gets stolen right at your porch. And also a lot of baby fotos in the internet gets stolen by scammers etc (what is not the fault or problem of the reborners, sellers etc.)
