So illegal copying of the sculpt makes it a fake? I would be peeved as an artist if people are copying, and I guess the plastic would be sub standard?? I heard Bountiful Babies plastic is substandard for their blank dolls? Wow... I thought you'd have more beads than that? Thats a good body shape. Turned out great. You paint your dolls very nicely.

This was outstanding. Ive always been confused about how to paint a doll. Now I think I'll be able to do it. Did you actually have a look at a new born to be able to paint or just looked at other creators? I notice some add some blue to the heel or mid foot, or leave middle of the toes lighter and blush the tips of the toes. EDIT: Digital cameras do not do your art justice and it is difficult to see the difference sometimes

Where did you get the plugs you used when you washed them? Is it something you made or bought?

I know this is a long shot that you will respond but here goes: I bought a reborn baby from someone on FB marketplace for $75. It was dark out when i bought her and when i got home i realized the paint job pn her is HORRIBLE and looks nothing like the picture. Can i repaint it?

Hi, I am truly sorry but for the price of silicone babies that you pay for. You should have received the COA when you got the baby. And not to add the unboxing is one that i pray when i purchase one is not like that. She could have found a better box wrapped a pretty blanket around it and put a few baby items in it instead of freeze dried candy. I am truly sorry for that experience. I want to thank you for sharing this beautiful work; you are a great teacher. Unfortunately the lighting was not too clear where one can see the details but I trust your technique and it was very clear and detailed. I wish you had this in a book...LOL. Hopefully you can continue to provide us with more great tips. I dont have the space to reborn but I can start with the painted kits until I can do the complete project. My goal is to create a baby to look like my only child, keep the memory alive when he was a toddler.

Aliens are demons. I wouldn't want demons around me or to make a baby that represents God's beautiful creation into something mutated or other worldly. I would paint it as a beautiful lifelike newborn.
