My grandparents had a small store. It was bombed twice in WWII. They had nothing, but their cat and one teacup, left after that. Grandma came from a farm with 13 siblings (no inheritance). She worked hard her entire life. My mother was a single mom. Her health was so bad that she ended up unable to work from my 10th. I paid/worked for my own education from 14 years on. I now own my own house and have a good job. This was not handed to me. I worked hard. My family worked hard and yet ended up with nothing. Yes I'm white, but I got 0 handouts.

As a white woman descended from Irish peasants who were made slaves and the other side being servants to the rich I can say that they had no white privilege. My school in the 70s was very diverse. I saw racism between the Afro Caribbean, kids and the Asian kids. There was definitely racism from white to non-whites. There was definitely racism from Jewish kids towards the rest of us. Tell the PTSD ridden rough sleeping veterans that they have white privilege.
      It’s divisive WEF agenda.

    • @O.O.O.K999

Hell, there are areas of the UK now where it's dangerous to be white if you go walking at night, especially if you are a woman. I live in Dorset where Weymouth and Portland have had 350 illegals dumped on them. After hold ups they were finally installed circa 6 weeks ago and this week two have been arrested for sexual assault.

Two most recent studies have found the below.
Exhibit A: In 2022, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs admitted that it has been discriminating against black veterans for decades in regard to disability benefits.
Exhibit B: In 2023, the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) admitted that it has been discriminating against Black taxpayers.

Zuby ( British rap artist) is twisting his brain into knots to not justify white privilege. Zuby say their white privilege and majority privilege also.
Britian has a White population of 81.88% according to the 2021 census.
If white privilege is a real thing and majority privilege is a real thing also than one can deduce there is white privilege in Britian because white people, make up the majority of the population.
However in South Africa, blacks make up 81.4% of the population and whites make up 7.3% percent of the population. Is there a black privilege in South Africa.
White South Africans earn 3 times the average wage of a black South African.

I have a similar story. I have two brothers and a sister. My brothers share all the same demographic markers as me. Same race, gender, sexuality, social and political upbringing. Heck we are more or less the same age, only being three years apart.
If there was any truth to this theory you would expect similar outcomes between us. But it will be no surprise to anyone that we all ended up in very different places in life. My elder brother is a high ranking prison officer, I help run a somewhat successful software company, and my younger brother is a gardener on minimum wage.

that the worker ant is female (the original Hebrew noun is in the female form),

“Canst thou bring forth Mazzaroth in his season? or canst thou guide Arcturus with his sons?”
      - Job 38:32 (KJV),
that Arcturus moves and has a group of stars (sons) following,
(Sir Edmund Halley was the first to discover this motion back in 1718. Arcturus appears to be whizzing through space at a speed of nearly 90 miles per second in the direction of the constellation Virgo. - space. com

You wont believe the racism that happened at my school. There were not many black people but they got a lot of stick by a certain group of people. That group of people? No, not white people. Asian muslims, who made up about half the school. They caused all the problems, they segregated themselves and refused to mix with anyone. The asians that rose above it and did mix were hated and alienated and always referred to by racist terms. They were always using insulting and racist terms towards everyone, often in their non-english language thinking we didn't understand (or knowing we did, but not caring). The majority of white people who were accused of racism were simply pushing back, and you know they were made examples of. But no, I am expected to believe that all white people are inherently racist and anyone who is not white is a poor innocent victim of racism in this country.

Well said. You must get a lot of pushback.
Reminds me of a "conversation" I had with one of my brother's female friends a few yrs ago. She said I had a "privileged life". My brother lived with my father. He did live a privileged life. I was forced to stay with my abusive mother because I was born with a birth defect called bladder Exstrophy (don't look it up with children in the room...) that required many surgeries (28 by the time I was 12) So the judge decided only a "mother" could deal with. We lived in a trailer surrounded by roaches. Once I got a staff infection in my belly incision. It had to heal from the inside out. Which ment scrubbing and cleaning it twice daily. All because my mother was a lazy abusive alchaholic.
I was unable to convince the friend of my brother that I wasn't privileged. The irony, her parents were literal millionaires.

  • @bgdragon99

I've been saying this for years. The VAST range of outcomes between people that share a race (at least in Western Cultures) means that even if racial privilege exists, it's not the sole determinant of success. In fact, the belief that you can't accomplish goals because of your race is self-fulfilling, because if you think making good life choices has no effect on good outcomes, then you feel like your choices hold no agency, and you have less incentive to make productive choices.

    • @brynleytalbot778

Basically, what you emit, you reap. Minorities seek privilege to give equality but are oblivious to how much inequality and favouritism that awards them, undermining another minority, who then seeks equality, the consequences of which curtail another minorities rights, or diminish the original minorities privileges awarded to equalise them. It’s a circularity with no end, which is the intended purpose. Those ‘campaigning’ aren’t seeking resolution. They’re seeking a Holy Grail. It’s impossible, their true aim.

Born into generational wealth is a privilege they recognise and act accordingly recognising it as a duty to serve others. The nouveau riche haven’t found that or have decided personal enrichment is their only purpose. This affects the new middle class mindset of entitlement, too. Hubris and hypocrisy define the protestor or campaigner class. They crave change, influencing it, that awards them privilege in return. It’s the way to disrupt earning respect, generationally, awarding one power. With power goes responsibility. The new influencer class, social media and protestor, have one responsibility, themselves. The elite aren’t perfect but compared to the entitled they are.

  • @cynthiajohnson9412

I object to the word privilege. It literally can't be a privilege if something is applied to the majority. The word privilege means 'special'. If a majority of a population is experiencing whatever is being pointed to, it can't by definition be called special. Most of what is pointed to and called 'privilege' these days is merely are result of the democratic process where majority rules. Fundamental to that process is that people vote in their own interests. It's only in very recent decades where people are somehow being guilted into circumventing their right to vote in their interest in favor of some 'oppressed' minority. Now all the guilting and frustration is being translated to, and rightly so, if you hate being a minority so much , you are more than welcome to return the place where people like you make up the majority. LBG people, sorry are out of luck -no such place exists. If it did it would be gone in a generation, for obvious reasons. But anyway, time to put aside nonsensical terms like the 'disproportionately affected', as if something, like not having clean water for instance, is gonna make those who haven't suffered 'historic oppression' less thirsty? People need clean water equally, cross the board, regardless of skin color and family history. When some population is suffering some problem or deprivation, lets deal with ALL the affected and acknowledge that all human suffering, while often acute, is also both subjective and abstract, but equally subjective and abstract. Or in other words, let's just deal with the fucking problem and stop trying to pretend some people have a greater right or propensity to suffering. Anyone else notice that right about the time we all were forced to talk seemingly endlessly about the 'disproportionately affected', problems for everyone stopped getting solved? Crinkled brows and nods of concern and catch phrases of DEI were substituted for actual solutions and meaningful action for everyone. Almost as if, for our greedy so-called leaders, talk and faux concern is way, way cheaper than the actions required to solve the problem for EVERYONE suffering. Go figure.

Every group has some kind of privilage that is not earned, and yes it can also depend on geographical region. Society can never be fully balanced because there is way too much nuance to take into account that will afford a "one size fits all" solution.
