It might be worth mentioning that frost damage is further increased if the target is wet. Unfortunately, for mobs that applies only while they are in the water. (That is why abomination burns even in the swamp where it is constantly raining)
Frostner is definitely op. I may only replace it with Mistwalker, but like you sad, it looks great for Ashlands. Frostner plus Fenris set should be pretty op for the next content.
Yeah frostner is the ultimate weapon. A mountain tier club that will probably punch 3 biomes above it's weight! But it will loose it's shine eventually, in the deep north. Because of course everything is going to be resistant if not immune to frost damage there! But maybe we'll have a fire club by then.
I like to use Frostner on Lox because I can circle around them and with the frost effect the lox will be to slow to line up for an attack so I can pretty consistently kill them without getting damaged
Depends where you are at currently. If you are heading into the plains, I would use a silver helmet, root chest, and fenris greaves. Just be mindful of fire damagd till you can craft barley wine.
Demolisher is a 2 handed mace vs Frostner which is a one handed. Same weapon class somehow, but different movsets. I think one handed weapons are better on average due to shields.
@@t0ssacoin408 I agree on 1 handed vs 2 handed, due to shields. However, sometimes the best defense is offense. It just depends on playstyle. I still use my Mistwalker and Draugr the most.
Embrace frostner tradition
Frostner is a fan favourite for a reason!
embrace atgeir tradition

Very true. I tried showcasing that by walking the fulings through the river, but I probably should've added a note card.
I play on a server with Epic Loot and my Frostner has Throwing and Recalling. Full Thor feeling and I think makes it very OP.
That sounds absolutely awesome!

I can't wait to see Fenris and Frostner shine in a biome. Looking forward to it!

@@dekippiesip The Dyrnwyn? You can probably craft it legit by then.
thanks for the vid. Decided to built this beauty after watching your vid and you're right - its an absolute banger of a weapon
Glad you are enjoying it. It is very solid!
Lmao Frostner is so good I leveled it from 1-4 as soon as I unlocked it and used it on all the things it’s resistant to and it still destroyed them
It is so versatile due to its damage typing. Definitely the swiss army knife of clubs.
I don’t know what to comment, anyways, I hope that this helps the algorithm push your videos to new people.
Always appreciate the interaction! Thanks!
my go-to and maxed weapon on every character since the beginning of valheim-time - hope it'll never get nerfed
I think it will end up being top tier for the Ashlands. If they nerf it, maybe they would make it tougher to craft.
Great Video! Right to the point and very helpful tips!
Glad you enjoyed it!
dual wield mod + frostner/porcupine combo = destruction
That sounds sick

Solid use. I just hate how slow it kills them.
i like using atgeirs to stunlock them
and it looks cool as hell
Drip or drown!
As soon as I find this bloody trader I will make this hammer and hammer so many things with it!
The trader is the hardest part sometimes. Goodluck!
Great informational video!! Thank you!
LETS GOOOOOOO
Frost we is still a crazy weapon but you can’t get it in the swamp anymore. The devs locked Ymir flesh from the Trader until after bonemass.
Mountains update changed that to after elder I thought. The wiki could be wrong, and if so needs to be updated.
In my present game I haven't defeated Bonemass, and the Trader does have Ymir Flesh for sale. ps. I have defeated the Elder.
@@steveevans9342 The 3rd party confirmation. Thanks for that.
I just got the frostner and I was wondering, what armor combination do you recommend? The max tier resource that I have access to right now is silver.

Nice information man
Appreciate it!
I thought Demolisher was the OP sledge. I suppose for early game, Frostner could be OP, though.

Just a heads up man, it’s “Moder”, like Motor. Translates to mother
It be what it be, I'll keep it in mind.
Plus it also gives hela Thor cosplay 😅
Closest to a mjolnir that we got.
Good ? Yes, OP ? Not even close !
If I couldn't aquire it as early as the swamp, then I would have to agree. However, I appreciate the comment because I love seeing what others think.
I agree with the proposition. It trivialises quite a lot of encounters that would otherwise be far more difficult. That makes it OP.
@@HuwPewPew Definitely agree with that sentiment.
Frostner is not a swamp level weapon its a mountain level weapon.
True, but you can get it once you have reached the swamp. That is all I was saying.
