- This is my 'Year Long' photography project, where every year I collate 12 images from the last year or so. In this video I show you the behind the scenes footage from every image in my calendar. These are new edits and not just a re-hash of old content. I hope you enjoy.

Seriously, who are you people who dislike this? What do you want or expect from a photographer trying (and very much succeeding as far as I'm concerned) to inspire others to grow and develop their own photography? It astonishes me... Great video, Thomas - and a wonderful year of images - thank you :)
This video brings added value to your calander. It was great to see the journey again. It's the experience, sight, smells and emotion that creates the end product. More than a memory a full experience. Thank you for all your hard work, bringing knowledge to us. It's hard to pick a fav image. My fav sound, was the crunching of the ice whilst viewing the outstanding view. Every day is a school day. Thank you.
September was my favourite. I think because it reminded me of loch fishng in Scotland in my early teens. Magical atmosphere.
It's all about the locations and the moods, at the end of the day. This is a great idea, to encapsulate in a video your emotional state when you took each photo. Obviously a useful marketing tool, but it's also nice for people who may not have seen the original videos, to get a feel for what was happening that day and what was in your mind. Me, I watched every video so I remember them all. I look forward to seeing the final product: ordering shortly!
The last 8 months have been sort of a mess for me but I finally got time to binge watch the last 8 months of your videos that I missed. So much value in every video. Pre-Ordered the Calendar. Keep rollin out that inspiration Tom.

Just ordered the calendar. Never bought one before, but I think it's pretty awesome that we all get to kind of live the experience of each photo through your videos. Makes me dream of one day traveling and seeing some of the wonders you have.

I thoroughly enjoyed the trip down memory lane watching all these compositions come together again... however, the thing I enjoyed most about this video was the sound! Wow wow wow. The ice cracking a the watery splooge when you were showing December’s image was so rich! Top stuff man.

The environmental sounds are just lovely. Makes me feel like I'm there, feeling the relaxation I get when in nature.

I just want to tell you that in this video, when you show February ... I recognized the place and it makes me smile, because I have been there just a few days ago and I made almost the same photo. Is the crater Bláhylur, also knows as Hnausapollur in Iceland. Gorgeous images at the summit By the way... a lot of flies in my time because there's no wind in that moment ;-).
I've been in Iceland for 15 days and I would like to come again. It's an awesome country. The mother earth in pure state.

Long time fan and I was surprised how much I enjoyed this one. I've seen each video already so I thought this would get boring, but I couldn't turn it off! Seeing a years worth of shoots like that was very cool. Some great inspiration to get out shooting even if conditions aren't desirable. Will be ordering a calander for the office as a constant reminder to get out and shoot whenever I can!!

Very nice video Thomas! I love how silent it is with lots of ambient sound, that really catches the mood of those calm images. The green on red tree in Nambia is my favorite from that collection.
Man that April image was pretty sweet. Gotta love those UK mountain sunrise scenes.

April and August are so gorgeous that I feel like I'm actually standing there myself. The May composition is so strikingly beautiful; yet, if I was there I would have missed that one. I now have learned from you to look for such simple, elegant shots.

It would be interesting to find such a place that can be expressive at any time of the year. And then the calendar could be made up of twelve pictures of one place, beautiful in its own way every month of the year.

Hi Thomas, Video request - It might be good to do a video about the things you do (or don't do) to keep your energy levels high while going on long treks and hikes up mountains. I can imagine this gets super tough during workshops that span multiple days. I think 'health as a landscape photography tool' is overlooked as a crucial element while staying in the creative flow that's necessary to produce great images. Hope you can make a video around this subject!

I really enjoyed the audio. I was thinking about this earlier in the week - many youtubers go overboard on the "vlogging" style, talking to the camera and forgetting to "show not tell". I hope you will make more videos where you focus on the scenery, illustrating the location and letting your work speak for itself. Very enjoyable video, it's nice to look back on your work and review the great content you have been producing for us.
