A sense memory as vivid as if was still happening. The singles in 1979 were wonderful and we just expected them to come like you’d turn on a tap and there’d be water. What a production! Hits all the right notes. The perfect mix of musicianship and studio wizardry. They didn't let the synthesizer work overshadow the conventional instruments.
I loved the cold water to get washed in in the morning, the stale bread for breakfast, wearing coats all day to stay warm, ice on the insides of the windows... yeh, I loved the '70s. But some of the music WAS good.

I love, love love this,song 🩷💜💞. First it reminds me of my earlier years where this one is one of the first Roxy Music songs I can remember in my memory. Especially the clips made a deep impression on me. Now later on it's more the lyrics and melody I am interested in and ofcourse mr beautiful @bryanferry 🫦💞. And besides I love Angels 🧚♀️

This band was always exceptional, but you've got to hand it to Bryan Ferry for always maintaining the highest of standards. Even his live shows are excellent. They used to have the Bete Noire one on YT. So good that I bought the DVD!
