Feels like a long time waiting for a video of you guys just being you and having a laugh on bikes together, more of the same please! ...this was glorious!
What a time to be alive, when a youtube channel known for cracking crass jokes and wheelie-ing puts out a top tier better-than-tv quality travel series. Nice work on this one lads, can't wait for the next instalment
Great film boys, these are my local riding roads, after 20 years of riding I still never get bored of the views. Just don't advertise it too much, don't want every 'adventurer' turning up 😂
Ahhh, that made me feel quite homesick seeing the Applecross pass and all the sights! I could feel the Irn Bru seeping from my pores at the thought of being there again. You talk of not doing it on a sports bike, I did it on a 1991 Ducati 900SS with throw over panniers and a tent strapped to the back!
Did this 3 years ago clockwise as well. Absolutely stunning. Scotland's west coast is astonishing. But... The outer hebs is on another level of beautiful chaps.
These are the videos I like the most, you guys just bantering about while actually making a real nice road trip. Excellent work, can't wait for the next part.
Fantastic lads, incredible Job. The NC500 is on the list for next year, and this series is ideal! You should consider coming across on a ferry and sampling the Antrim coast road in NI, and further on to the wild Atlantic way, especially up around Downings in Co. Donegal.
Did the NC500 for the first time this year on a daytona 675r... the body didn't appreciate some of the roads with sportbike suspension haha, but what a beautiful place. You never really appreciate the scenery we have in the UK until it's right in front of you. Top class as always lads 👍
I did this in 2016 on an old 900SS, that Applecross bit was a challenge!. A personal highlight for me each morning was asking for an English breakfast. Went down a storm every time.
@@FortyFourTeeth I used to take it for granted a little bit when I was younger. Myself and friends would have little road trips into the highlands but as I've grown older (maybe wiser that's up for debate) I've really begun to appreciate what for me luckily isn't that far of a journey away. Fantastic video guys, some incredible shots in this one too!
I first did this before it had a name and was just spoken of as riding around Scotland, that was on a Ducati 748 as that was what I had. It took two weeks to get sensation back in my arms from the elbows down. Now ridden the nc500 4 times the last was during the heatwave in June 23 and it was glorious. As you say best done on a comfy bike and watch out for caravans and suicidal sheep - tip - if you go at the end of the year the doppy ones have all been run over so its a bit safer.
You’re chicken oriental if you skip breakfast in Scotland, as they do the best breakies up there. They take the full English as a starting point, then add Larne sausage, fried haggis and a tattie scone. That’s you good for the rest of the day, it’s a thing of beauty
My first ever trip to the UK was on a motorbike and to Scotland last year(2022) . And yes, I rode the Apple Cross. It is so nice to see your love for it. My tiger 1050 lover it too.... Thnx for the lovely video..
Wonderful! Nailed it again you guys and you seem to have chosen your bikes wisely. I'm not the hotheaded type but that prick in the 'bus' got off Scot free, sadly no alternative with the cam recording. Can't wait for the next installment.
Done the 500 a few times now boys. Yes, the road and scenery is something else, eh? The pass of the cattle, or the Bealach na Ba over to Applecross is truly amazing and as per one of the earlier comments, that is the isle of Skye over to your left. The road can be a bit of a car park at peak times these days and it would be so much more enjoyable off peak. But, they created a monster when the NW500 was born and now everyone wants to see it. For those considering it, don't hesitate. Just do it and it will leave its mark on you forever. Plenty forward planning with fuel stops is recommended and watch your times as well, as some fuel stations close early. The roads have always been there of course, its just so much more busier now. Hope your enjoying it boys up here in that there Scotland. Your channel is just the best. All the best-John from East Kilbride.
Im watching this from hospital with a broken back and spinal cord injury, (thankfully not permanent). I was rear ended by a driver on a disqualified license while waiting at traffic lights. Estimate he was doing around 25-30mph. I had only just picked up the bike a month ago, a Yamaha xsr900. Looks like it will be a total loss. You guys do a great job of capturing the essence of riding! Watching this has helped me feel like i'm out on the road again! My Grandparents were from Scotland as well, so it has brought back some memories. You guys do a great job! Cheers lads, and thanks for the entertainment! Zac, from New Zealand.
Had similar injury to L3 vertibra area some years ago. Truly scary & unbelievably painful. Full mobility & strength took some patience and much physio. I still have some numbness to my upper left leg, but it works fine. Take it steady, meanwhile very best wishes for a full recovery & sorry to hear about the bike - but in the big scheme of things, it is nothing compared to your health. One thing that helped me a lot 2 or 3 months after hospital was ‘reflexology’ foot massage type thereapy - worth looking into.
This is so awsome guys. Well done. I've enjoyed this so much that I watched it a few times. It should have a lot more views then its got in my opinion.
Going over the Applecross pass, as you were looking across to your left ... that's the Isle of Skye and the black cullin mountains 👌🏽.... plenty of roads over that way too
Fabulous video 🤩. I did the nc500 this year with some friends and yes an adventure bike is perfectly suited but you could do the route on any bike. One chap on our group was on a Busa.
Some amazing roads and views in Scotland, me and the wife did nc500 couple of years back on my triumph. Had it booked then covid happened.....we worth the wait though. Bloody campervans!!! Clueless
I did the NC500 with my partner on our Multistrada 1200 enduro this summer, fantastic roads on the west coast, we did clockwise like you guys, but in retrospect I think anticlockwise would be better as the dramatic scenery would built throughout the trip, loved the road between Ullapool and Durness, also loved the Cairngorms on the way back down south, looking forward to the next episode!
A great insight to an epic tour, I will be doing it myself next year and will be doing it on a sports bike, I know its not suitable but I'm up for it on my TL1000R
@@rRaeyon I did it but my sports bike was not used and did it on my Pan European instead. Another guy did take a sports bike but it only lasted a couple of days.

You guys were lucky, I rode the Applecross pass last year in horrible conditions. Couldn’t see 1 metre in front of my face or any oncoming cars until they were on me. Probably the scariest riding experience of my life.
I was only there a few weeks ago, seeing this makes me want to go back asap... I will say that no matter how good the camera is, it just never does it justice to being there in person. Amazing trip for anyone thinking of doing it.
It’s brilliant. Me and the mrs did it in august in a camper. I wanted to do on the bike and wild camp but she was having non of it. Solo trip for me next year, peace and quiet 🤫
Finally a video with decent bikes....and this on one of my dream routes. Splendid! By the way: "We got to think about how you going to get out" is soooo true! But after 13k km with the Rally, one gets used to those situations.
Excellent video...great humour as ever! Fab scenery...if you liked the NC 500 you would love the Wild Atlantic Way! I know its really practical...but the top box and panniers look so bad on the Desert X 😂😂. Look forward to seeing the next episode, cheers Steve
Done the NC500 on the bike for our honeymoon back in June, wife riding pillion - amazing trip! Tracer 9 GT, camped 4 nights, bnb's for 3. Also done it clockwise, mainly to get the west coast in before the weather was due to turn!
Hi guys, was up there early summer to do some of the 500 on my adventure bike, the v4 Panigale😂😂, it's truly epic country. Finished with a weekend at BSB Knockhill, which was great. Scotland was incredible. Cheers fellas🍻🍻
Cracking content as ever boyz, I live on the west coast and feel you missed some of the best roads, Should have visited Isle of Bute and gone up A82/83, these are also incredible OH an the road to Skye is pure filth!!! Looking forward to catching rest of this series 👌
