Fantastic stuff again guys honestly can’t believe your channel isn’t bigger, has the aspect of real bike stuff but it’s also funny as fuck. Best bike content I’ve ever found
As ever, very entertaining, funny and actually informative. I rode most of it in October (luckily weather was amazing) with an old buddy of mine. It’s funny that you mentioned getting blasé about the views (as we did), and also packing the beer in unusually early due to tiredness, after thrashing the single tracks (as we did! 😂😂). Final note, my Africa Twin 1100L was absolutely spot on and in its element. Keep up the good work chaps, definitely the best motorcycle TH-cam channel without a doubt! 🙌
Think I'll try anti clockwise next time since it starts with all the scenic fun stuff, and the last part from John o Groats to your final hotel can be done very quickly.. 😊
If you do the North coast again, forget about going east. After Durness, go from tongue to Lairg, then cut back down south via the cairngorms / Glenshee ski centre etc then down through Stirling etc. You'll never have to ride an A road till Edinburgh
Got to be the Wild Atlantic Way next boys. It's on my doorstep and never get tired of it or seeing different things. Pays to get off the route and inland a bit to see the bonus what the country has to offer too.
Scotland is absolutely stunning! I feel like this is one of the most authentic series riding the NC500 that I've seen. Wales is also gorgeous but the Scottish are much more welcoming. Walking into a local pub in North Wales and everyone immediately changing from speaking English to Welsh as you get through the door is a bit shitty. That's coming from a Cornish person, I know we notoriously get fed up with tourists and second home owners but we'll always be friendly and chat.
I cannot say enough good things about you two, you guys have brought me much two wheeled joy and laughter watching your video’s, BBB & now riders digest are the best motorcycle content on YT. A big 👍 from cold kansas.
I’ve got the Multi V2S with the same engine as the Desert X, more than enough for most roads and seriously underrated especially if you ride the bumpy roads up here in Northumberland and the Borders. Not quite as dramatic as the Highlands but stunning scenery in my back yard.
The journey up from Ullapool to the North West Point is simply amazing, and Applecross is simply stunning! Why don't you pop over to Ireland and sample parts of the Wild Atlantic Way? Also stunning roads and scenery.
Absolutely loved watching the series guys! Loving all adventure trips 'n' banter. Experiencing a real world trip through the eyes of a motorbike ride is well enjoyable:) .Appreciate all the effort which is put in to these - Keep it up. Hope to meet ya'll one-day on of your adventures .
Well done guys! Thanks for the team support with drone landscape shots and road overview riding shots. Been up there - Sutherland surname lol, esp on the East side - know that corner!! And Helmsdale was very specific for me - including the Timespan historical Museum, which had a series of Annul Book of Year Tax Records in it A3 size hand written from the 1820's on with my 5 GGF name and siblings in it! Loved the comradery and fun you had poking jokes at each other. Well done. keep them coming! Graeme NZ, PS I do have an RT!!
Loved Scotland and have been there last September, horrid weather (confirmed by local too!) But was amazing, side note, i've slept in the Bridge at Helmsdale (14:00 circa) really nice hotel.
A good watch guys, cheers. Done it 3 times now, once alone as we came out of lockdown which was pure bliss. Always done the 500mile part over two days.. so when i do it again I'd stretch it over a week. Wanting to do the wild atlantic way in ireland next, you guys should take a look at that 😁
I did Scotland - 10 days - in May (back in '17) and got zero midges, and zero rain. Lucky, maybe, but I'd recommend that time of the year based on my single experience there.
Excellent. Do it again on three ZX4RRs with Boothy. Riot. Forget the last section back to Inverness, go play and be extra amazed by the Aberdeenshire into Perthshire roads over the Glenshee pass. From Perth it's plain sailing back home south or cut west over to all the Trossachs roads to keep the big fun and scenery buzz going. Then it's a peice of piss to head south from Glasgow again. Honestly, there are more phenomenal options than the full NC500. Taking backroads back to the border down the west coast to Dumfries instead of the motorway prolongs the best riding experience. Then you've not got far before the best of Cumbria and the lake district roads. Adventure fest ooop north fellas. I think that new little ninja would be most fun
You should go in search of 'the craic' on the world famous Wild Atlantic Way in Ireland and compare. Hope to do it myself soon so you lot can show me the best bits (and Guinness)! Enjoyed the nc500 episodes, I grew up on Skye and it takes me back, a great community up there!
Fantastic, good to see it from your faster point of view. You seem to have avoided the dreaded camper vans mostly! Every time I visit it’s camper van hell. Cheers.
Wonderful road trip! So well made and narrated. The historical information was superb and now when I go there I will know so much more detail of what I'm seeing and will help me chat with the locals.... Thanks guys! Oh and Al didn't get Eggy at all????
Great series and i think il head up there after watching this. Come down to cornwall for your next riders digest and maybe do it on green lane style bikes as there loads of hidden gems about.
Really enjoyed it, Scotland has some of the best roads in the UK. What about tour Britain coast roads. Also what about a loop round the Baltic... its on my bucket list.
Brilliant as usual, remember to take midge cream but also remember to rub it on your sausage as I found out on NC500 trip, the midges also like a bit of sausage 😅
As somebody who would quite like to do this in the next couple of years i'd be interested to have a rough idea of how much you ended up spending on petrol, food and places to stay? Not including the 20k bike 😅
Enjoyed it! it's been pish hic...a'hve bin pished awra time a wis lookin at this pish ye ken loons, nae quines oan this trip, hic. Fou's yer dous loons and quines and other Doric masterpieces.🥳💓😉( great viewing and production ramping up excellent exterior work.... laddies) Here doll gies that whisky here right noo..hic...naw werr no goan oot oan the bike!🏍🚀
I went clockwise with the idea of doing the twisty single track stuff while you're fresh, alert and can enjoy it then you can auto pilot the A9. I also noticed like you, you handle the remote locations then nearly get ran off the road by a van/caravan when you get back to civilization. 😄
Loved this, always wanted to do the nc500 and it looks as good as I hoped! If you do another one I would love to see you do Spain/Algarve. You have the sun, scenery, Pyrenees mountains, coast and country roads .. also many opportunities for a cold one and a disco!
For me this channel is the best content on TH-cam. Come to think of it, the best content I watch anywhere. Not done the NC500 but that and a tour of Ireland are high on my list. Even more so now for the NC500 since watching this series of vids. Great work fellas. You even brought back memories of my old band with your bbq because a mate said we should call our debut CD album release, Toxic Sausage! We didn’t but I kind of wish we had now. The album did great work. If boxes of the fecking thing holding up my stairs for decades can be classed as great work ☺️ It got remastered and put on spotyface etc a few years back. The band was called Boiling Peter Bread. If you think that’s weird, check the album out!! To be fair, during both the writing and recording process we were technically, off our tits.
Ace document of your trip boys. I think we passed you coming the other way early on in your trip. Would love to see you boys take on one of these off road experience days or something of the likes.
If you ever fancy another Scotland blast you also have the lesser know but local favourite NE250. There's also the Cairngorms. And rookie is a Cockwomble 🤫
Would love to see you do a roadtrip in norway. Riding through the norwegian fjords and mountain roads is great, just remember speeding can result in a new Swiss "episode" :)
I've some Scottish blood in me apparently. Was great to see it before it's no more. Tasmania I will recommend if you ever get the chance, again before it's no more.
I love Scotland too. We as a family did East to West and it pissed down nearly every day. Absolutely loved it 🏴🏴 The road to Balmoral was amazing, well loads of stuff was amazing. Definitly will be doing it on a bike next year. Probs in a sport bike though 😂 Great watch lads thank you.
Great work boys I'd always recommend the anti-clockwise route personally. The west and north are great, the east coast is flat and shit mostly. It is a bit disappointing after seeing the other side, but it's also easy to just cruise to the finish on a main road when you're knackered from the windy trip up to that point. My pal lives in Skye so we'd always go up that route, I used to shit myself cause he'd drive it as someone who's lived there 30 year and knows all the bends. Never came close to an accident with anyone else, just local knowledge of the roads + my lack of knowledge making it feel insane. Applecross is stunning though, what a view. And Durness from the start of the video has the most beautiful beach I've ever seen. I went to it in the middle of summer and honestly, the warm sand, the crystal blue water, I genuinely would've believed I was in some island in the Caribbean.
Suggested riders digest destination: Smokey Mountains of North Carolina to ride the famous “tail of the Dragon!” Great riding, great food, tons of sights to see!
You guys have to take your show on the road and come to Canada and do a cross Canada or US tour!! It would be EPIC!! Thanks Again!! You guys are awesome!
This reminds me of my first tour of the Peak District and I exclaimed something along the lines of “Bloooooody hellllll!” Every time we crested a hill and my companions eventually told me to STFU. Thankfully the trip didn’t involve a blue light run. For your next trip I think you should do a collab with Nathan the Postie at Dorothy’s Speedshop. Green Laning in North Devon
Boys great Show Great Job….I did Iceland summer 2022 it as another level we went off road trails and road the scenery will blow your mind it took us 7days to go all around the island so if you want a great adventure one you will remember for the rest of your life i propose you go to Iceland…😂😂😂
Great set of videos. Looks like the guys have gotten their mojo back. Last couple of years have appeared a little like a married couple who are staying together for the kids but would split if they could (bickering, nit picking at each other etc, not fun 'banter'). Long may it continue
You should go to Northern Ireland & Ireland next in either a MV Agusta, Moto Guzzi, Aprilia or even a Bimota and maybe come over to Australia in the future.
Fantastic stuff again guys honestly can’t believe your channel isn’t bigger, has the aspect of real bike stuff but it’s also funny as fuck. Best bike content I’ve ever found
Thanks 🙏🏽
Well said that man.
Agreed, if it was car content it would be 10x the size
@@mattthompson8657 honestly this channel deserves all Yammy Noob, Revzilla etc viewers they don’t know what they’re missing
As ever, very entertaining, funny and actually informative. I rode most of it in October (luckily weather was amazing) with an old buddy of mine. Final note, my Africa Twin 1100L was absolutely spot on and in its element. Keep up the good work chaps, definitely the best motorcycle TH-cam channel without a doubt! 🙌
I’ve done the NC500 both ways. Anti-clockwise is definitely better.
Now do the Wild Atlantic Way!
Highly recommended.
Think I'll try anti clockwise next time since it starts with all the scenic fun stuff, and the last part from John o Groats to your final hotel can be done very quickly.. 😊
Get the ferry across to Stornoway from Ullapool and visit the Western Isles. You will love the roads and the scenery!
If you do the North coast again, forget about going east. After Durness, go from tongue to Lairg, then cut back down south via the cairngorms / Glenshee ski centre etc then down through Stirling etc. You'll never have to ride an A road till Edinburgh
That’s the way I go from east to the west coast, you can keep John O’Groats👍
Got to be the Wild Atlantic Way next boys. It's on my doorstep and never get tired of it or seeing different things. Pays to get off the route and inland a bit to see the bonus what the country has to offer too.

If you haven’t done it already highly recommend the wild Atlantic way. scenery and roads just as amazing if not better
And no pesky midges
That hotel in Thurso kicked me out once for smoking weed, The buggers.
10:22 - fun fact @44teeth - my grandfather also served at RNAS Hatston (HMS SparrowHawk) (a naval air base on the orkney's). Small world.

And not forgetting the black stuff 😊
Settling in for another episode, thanks lads! 🎉
This was a superb series! More of this absolutely! Absolutely loved the bbq tools 😂😂
Yes, loved it. Do more of this stuff it was quite enjoyable. Even the wife watched it and she's not into bikes!
I`m Scottish, and really enjoyed all parts of your tour. Well done for a great production, and all the best. Slainte!
Close call on the McSplurry Nige. Great series chaps. Thank you.
When you said about the Highlands games I was there at the same time as you going the opposite way around the NC500 I was 2 day's late aswell 😮
It’s the kessock bridge ,inverness is my home town
Loved the Riders Digest of the NC 500👍
How about the Wild Atlantic Way in Ireland next
wonderful adventure lads. Thanks for taking us with you!
Best bike travel adventure I've ever watched. Thank you.
Well done guys! Thanks for the team support with drone landscape shots and road overview riding shots. Been up there - Sutherland surname lol, esp on the East side - know that corner!! Great vid going through nostalgia Lane for me, spending time in my grandparents village and the roads around it. Magical!
So nice to see them both coming out and living that brokeback mountain life ❤❤another arse in ribbons
A good watch guys, cheers. Done it 3 times now, once alone as we came out of lockdown which was pure bliss. Always done the 500mile part over two days.. so when i do it again I'd stretch it over a week. Wanting to do the wild atlantic way in ireland next, you guys should take a look at that 😁
The barbecue clip definateley needs to be on Saturday kitchen.

Spent a week doing the NC 500 a couple of years ago. Brought back all the great memories. Brilliant videos chaps 👍🏼👌🏻🏴
Loving the honestly and comedy fun videos.

Great series guys.. loads of laughs and entertainment… 👌
The lighter side of bike reviews
Well done
Did Al make it to the evacuation point on time ?
Great series and i think il head up there after watching this. Come down to cornwall for your next riders digest and maybe do it on green lane style bikes as there loads of hidden gems about.
Really enjoyed that - I think the trip over from the west coast of Ireland to ride that route would have me begging for the big bike
Really enjoyed it, Scotland has some of the best roads in the UK. What about tour Britain coast roads. Also what about a loop round the Baltic... its on my bucket list.
so need to have a tootle up scotland on the bike next year for sure i am missing out
This has inspired me to do the trip....what a corker! Cheers once again for these gems!
Lads thats a great camera set up you've got there..love Scotland almost like i'm there..
Brilliant as usual, remember to take midge cream but also remember to rub it on your sausage as I found out on NC500 trip, the midges also like a bit of sausage 😅
Good stuff lads. Top laughs and biking entertainment as ever 👍🏼
Brilliant wee series.. well done. Thanks.
17:55 💩💩That has to be the scariest feeling, when that extreme massive pending explosion of Diarrhea is turtle necking at your sphincter 🤣🤣
Thanks for such a great general knowledge about Scotland. Appreciate it
As somebody who would quite like to do this in the next couple of years i'd be interested to have a rough idea of how much you ended up spending on petrol, food and places to stay? Not including the 20k bike 😅
3x tanks of fuel (each bike) so approx. £60 and hotels were around £100-£120 per night for one room.
Loved this series lads, as for next trip maybe the wild Atlantic way in Ireland. Or some of it anyway 😁
Rough cost of fuel and accommodation? Cracking series as always!
Enjoyed it! it's been pish hic...a'hve bin pished awra time a wis lookin at this pish ye ken loons, nae quines oan this trip, hic. Fou's yer dous loons and quines and other Doric masterpieces.🥳💓😉( great viewing and production ramping up excellent exterior work.... laddies) Here doll gies that whisky here right noo..hic...naw werr no goan oot oan the bike!🏍🚀
Great video gents, hopefully doing the NC500 for the first time next year.
I went clockwise with the idea of doing the twisty single track stuff while you're fresh, alert and can enjoy it then you can auto pilot the A9.
I also noticed like you, you handle the remote locations then nearly get ran off the road by a van/caravan when you get back to civilization. 😄
Great watch thank you
Loved it. Go anywhere, as long as you include another bbq workshop.
Would love to see you guys do some trips in America. There are some great roads in the Smokey mountains of NC.
Loved this, always wanted to do the nc500 and it looks as good as I hoped!
If you do another one I would love to see you do Spain/Algarve.
You have the sun, scenery, Pyrenees mountains, coast and country roads .. also many opportunities for a cold one and a disco!

Great bit of road when u leave John o groats and go South along the coast
Evening lads , was waiting for this .👍😜🇮🇲
Evening Andy 🙋🏻♂️
Perfect Saturday morning first brew entertainment.
Ace document of your trip boys. I think we passed you coming the other way early on in your trip.

Just EPIC! Thank you for another VERY enjoyable video!!! Fun and very very British ☺!

I love the BBBs but man this was awesome guys more of these go to Ireland next maybe...thanks guys watching from Houston Texas
Great work boys

If ever in the states... you'll have a place to stay.
I thoroughly enjoyed this!
Hilarious and fun as always. Love you guys!
Loved the music for the John 'O' Groats sunrise... what is it?
It's ok, I've found it - Cody Martin; Finding the Truth
Id like you to do the snowdonia 360 in february, camping!! 🤣🤣
That sausage was a disaster. Guaranteed tuppeny bits.
Go to Norway, ferry from Harwich through Europe to Denmark, ferry to Kristiansand. You jaw will be dragging along the road everywhere.
You guys have to take your show on the road and come to Canada and do a cross Canada or US tour!! It would be EPIC!! Thanks Again!! You guys are awesome!
Agree, spent time OFF the NC500. That’s where it gets incredibly nice, a lot of it is like the best parts of the NC route.
Awesome boys. Will you two please just do a 44 teeth version of the long way round 👍
Thanks Chris and Al..just moved to India with my job but so pleased I can still tune in! Swapping my Ducati for a Royal Enfield 😢
Alaska, it's the Last Frontier. Last half of June is best. See you here.
You should do a trip through Périgord in France, just gorgeous !
Enjoyed that muchly. Thanks lads
Cheers guys 👍
Ewan & Charlie never had an Enterprise rental support van 🤣
This reminds me of my first tour of the Peak District and I exclaimed something along the lines of “Bloooooody hellllll!” Every time we crested a hill and my companions eventually told me to STFU. Thankfully the trip didn’t involve a blue light run.
For your next trip I think you should do a collab with Nathan the Postie at Dorothy’s Speedshop. Green Laning in North Devon
The graphic work on the desert x looks soo damm good!
Another great series chaps. How do those bikes compare with your GS 'Tractor' for comfort and all round capability. Asking for a friend lol
So happy you guys are better at riding than you are at cooking. 😂
Boys great Show Great Job….I did Iceland summer 2022 it as another level we went off road trails and road the scenery will blow your mind it took us 7days to go all around the island so if you want a great adventure one you will remember for the rest of your life i propose you go to Iceland…😂😂😂
Did you clean the machine oil off of those tools before using them as utensils ! Couple 🔧’s
Would love to see ye do the Wild Atlantic way. Longest coastal drive in the world.
Great set of videos. Looks like the guys have gotten their mojo back. Last couple of years have appeared a little like a married couple who are staying together for the kids but would split if they could (bickering, nit picking at each other etc, not fun 'banter'). Long may it continue
Guys, where’s the BBBR bikes? Have I missed something?
You should go to Northern Ireland & Ireland next in either a MV Agusta, Moto Guzzi, Aprilia or even a Bimota and maybe come over to Australia in the future.
Excellent stuff
