Stumbled onto Colour of Spring..thank you TH-cam..knew a couple of the tracks but loved the album so much.but then..listened to Spirit of Eden ..couldn't stop listening to its majesty..and Laughing Stock...these 2 albums possibly the two best albums I've ever heard. No exaggeration

Spirit of Eden is a harder one to get in to, but it is an interesting one indeed. Thanks for watching and take care! :)
I have all of them! And love every one. Each were a lovely reflection of Mark and his wonderful creativity. I pray I meet him in heaven. Because that is where he surely is. Love you sweet friend, enormously!

Hi there, thanks for your lovely comment about Mark Hollis, a fantastic musician and composer! Thanks for watching and take care! :)
He was one of the best singer/songwriters from the eighties era. Very well spoken Jörgen. I will never forget the airplay that these guys got on terrestrial radio. Mark's voice was always so distinctive. I loved it from the first album on. Way to go Brother J. I could tell by this video how much you appreciated his songwriting and the band~ Rob/Boston

Brother R, it was natural to do a tribute to Mark Hollis as i have loved his band and his work for so long. He was indeed one of the best in the 80s. Thanks for watching and take care! :)
nice tribute from you Jorgen. The Spirit of Eden and Laughing Stock is my Talk Talk favorites, as you said non synth pop and ambient.

Hi Steve, thanks, it felt good to do it. "Spirit of Eden" is still a good album to me, even if i prefer the more synthoriented albums in first hand. Thanks for watching and take care! :)

Hi Ollie, he was a really great musician indeed and memories are very much forever. Thanks for watching and take care! :)
I'll have to re-investigate Talk Talk after all the tribute posts I've been seeing. I think I wrote them off as just another 80's pop band and all I have in my collection now is The Party's Over album. I sort of think I may have had more at some point but it might have fallen victim to some collection downsizing. I seem to recall listening to that one and thinking it too iconic an 80's song to let go - and who was saying something like that in the early 80's anyway when it seemed the New Wave, synth pop party was in full swing. Intriguing. Nice tribute, cheers!

Hi Doug, i'm sorry, i must completely have missed this comment. I feel like Talk Talk was a bit in the shadow of the more commercial 80s bands (OMD, Depeche, Ultravox etc), but at the same time they were very unique. "The party's over" is a really great album! Thanks for watching and take care! :)
You're just a pop fan really. Their last two albums are obviously beyond you!

The last one is still missing in my collection, "Spirit of Eden" is OK, but i admit that i listen more to the more famous part of their career . Thanks for watching and take care! :)
Talk Talk was big in the states ❤. Guess we could carry them just fine!
Here in Sweden was one place they were never big in, for some reason. Thanks for watching and take care! :)
Talk Talk grew past that synthesizer pop box! They were true artists!❤
They were great indeed! Thanks for watching and take care! :)
The Spirit of Eden is my favourite, I love the earlier stuff but for me the last two were phenomenal
I have yet to find their last one. Thanks for watching and take care! 🙂
