DAY 16: DISASTER REMOVING MY PORSCHES WING MIRRORS!

Is there ever such thing as a "quick 5 minute job"?
When looking at Trouble (my Porsche 356) in the garage and assessing everything I had to take offer her, I never saw the wing mirrors as a major task. How wrong I was.
These little things were stubborn and although appeared in quite good condition with their dulled back chrome, they had their FAIR SHARE OF RUST!

Garage-sales, Estate sales, Facebook Marketplace are all amazing for finding cheap auto-working tools and equipment! Congrats on finding the engine stand 🙌🏾 …and finally getting the side-view mirrors off! 😅. When you reattach them later on, are you considering them on the fenders up front? Or back to their traditional spot? ⚡️
