I have a question which is a bit off topic. I am repairing a iPhone XS max with a broken front microphone. I have a lower end and back microphone laying around. Are all microphones the same, Or cant i change one for another?

Hi Mario,
thanks for your feedbacj! It's great that we could help. Do you mean the adhesive frame? With an adhesive frame, your iPhone would be better protected against dust and water, but even with a new one it's no longer 100% waterproof. So it's also ok to leave the sticker out, because the display is fixed by small hooks and the Pentalobe screws.
