It took a lot of time for me to decide if I will change my iPhone battery on my own 😅. Good thing I decided to do it. It took me 3 hours tho😂 I have to be very careful. It's my first time doing it and this video helped me a lot. It is so simple but very detailed. You can never go wrong if you'll follow each steps.
OK ... I am an old (61) machinist. The battery in my phone said 62% health ... not good. Got a battery from Amazon (I don't believe all the hyp about high capacity ... I am sure it is no better and maybe worse than the factory battery .. but for $25 .. good enough for a 6 year old phone (which I bought used). I watch a number of videos. All left the Taptic Engine and speaker in. I could not believe how people were prying and tearing at their phones to get the battery out. They I found this video! Sure, a few more screws but WOW did the battery come out easy. Super video .. great details ... Thanks So Much !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh, and the phone now works great!
@@cryptoc2558 ... good question. So put a new battery in an iphone 6 about 2 years ago ...still going strong. I did in fact put a battery in my phone about 4 months ago ... still says %100 health. I do know it is hit or miss. Some batteries last ... some are junk right from the start.
Hey @idoc europe I have trouble using the ifixit Iopener to open my iPhone, what is your opinion about the iopener? I was not able to open my iPhone with it, i will buy a heatgun now and will try it again.
3:11 DO NOT Strip these screws, I did and it was hell. Tried every single method, rubber, aluminum, super glue, I ended up having to break the bracket off.
Guys, as you have great experience in all things iPhone; Do you know of any pc or Mac software that can recover photos you have manually deleted from an old iPhone running iOS 7 ? Possible or not?
