- Rosie and Jude are so dedicated to their looks that they've completely split their house in two. Rosie is a lolita doll, obsessed with all things pastel and kitsch, while Jude loves the goth look and will only wear black.
The pair, who live in London, have made sure that each side of their home is decorated to match their personality and aesthetic, from pastel pink walls and kitsch toys, to blackout curtains and a sword - even their toothpaste matches their style.
It has taken them years to develop their styles, and although they look very different a lot of influence for both of them comes from Japanese fashion.
Rosie is especially influenced by lolita fashion and cute Japanese characters and toys.
While their styles may look extreme they don't do it for attention but say they just do it to express themselves.

Update! I wrote this when I was way less confident and not doing good with my mental health, I have way better friends now and actually started dressing alt! A lot can change in a year

There's a lot of misconception in the comments bit this is what ACTUALLY happened:
Basically Rosie and Jude were both tired of being thought as the Goth and Lolita (she's not a lolita!!) As though they're one person and not two different people. They slowly drifted apart and they came to a mutual desicion of not living together anymore. It has nothing to do with drugs. Yes, rosie started doing drugs but nothing illegal and that's not the reason they no longer live together. Theyre still friends, just less close. That's basically it :)

For anyone who didn't know, this is not lolita. Lolita has less extreme makeup, more poofy dresses and more rococo and victorian inspired. This is nothing like lolita. Although it is a fun and unique style.

Hell yeah! They are awesome. Bodies are canvases. It is a way to show the world a tiny bit of who you are just by a glance. Honestly once I turned 20 I stopped giving a shit what people thought of me for material things. They have no part in my life so it seriously does not matter at all.
For like two years I though I had to dress "adult" to get respected or because I growing up and getting into my 20s. And it ended up freaking me so much out, and made me feel alienated from myself! Now I'm back in my alternative lifestyle, with stretched ears and unnaturally coloured hair. And I've never been happier!

Am i the only one who's absolutely STUNNED by their make-up skills and the determination the put on everything ?! I mean look at their make up. You can tell they have payed attention to every single detail and that they actually put a lot of effort on what they like and love. It's sad that people don't usually like these styles. If it isn't something they see everyday, they're quick to judge. It's just a style of clothing and art that isn't basic. But not being basic is the fun part.

Its a style of clothing that is so over the top that it readily suggests mental illness. Style is a language. Never forget that. It is as much communication as an email. Their message is not a good one.

Bothers me that they label Rosie as a lolita when she is not shown wearing lolita at all. Maybe she wears it sometimes (so it might not technically be wrong to say she's a lolita, I did see Angelic Pretty's Cotton Candy Shop among her clothes), but people who don't know about it will see this and think that what she is wearing is lolita when it's a different style.
I think I saw somewhere (don't remember if it was the other video about them or insta) where Rosie said her style used to be super Lolita but then it branched out into a somewhat different style. But her style was lolita in the past, just not now. I agree with your statement, I guess they just put that title for her to make it easier for people to identify m

She started as a classic sweet lolita before branching off to her own style. But it's still kawaii and harajuku inspired so it's easy to call it lolita I guess. You can certainly see the influences- watch the vid lovely lor did on their first barcroft vid
