I have to admit, seeing a dude wearing a Beavis & Butthead shirt listening to this song like he never heard it before is slightly strange to me, since those two things are from the same era.
But seeing younger people discover the music I grew up with is a joy.

The younger generation seems to have this affinity for buying and wearing things from the 80s and 90s as an "aesthetic" but have no idea about the thing itself. One of his videos he said he never heard an album that he could listen to from start to finish and thought a gread album only had like 3 songs on it. I'm so glad @lfrjojo checking out older stuff and hopefully listening to the entire album.

@@MrShwaggins Sublime is one of the few bands I can listen to virtually every album cover to cover. There may be a song or two I'm not hip on at the time of listening, but then I'd get in the mood to listen to those songs so it comes and goes in cycles but all their songs have a little something to them

Woohoo! I love Sublime! This album came out my freshman year of college, and me and my buddies would play it over and over and over again, omg - the whole album is SO good. Glad to see the younger generation digging the classics, cheers buddy.
I remember being in high school, absolutely gutted when Brad died. There was nothing like them. Still hasn't been. Completely original sound and while he doesn't have the vocals of an all time great, he had a unique voice and so much soul.

sublime is just so much happiness and hardship ,soulful feel-good, punk rock, ska ,reggae , just so much emotion rolled up in the most feel good and down to earth music......... sux their lead singer and heart of the band ,brad , died at such a young age and to something that takes so many of our soulful , young , talented ,musicians and wordsmiths........ just sucha shame ........and i've heard the music the remaining bandmates did after his passing ,and it was good stuff, but it just didnt have that spark brad brought to sublime .......... i dunno where i wanted to go with this rant but sublimes the shit , check out more of their music, think they only got 2 maybe 3 albums out before brad died and an ep or two and maybe some b-sides and unreleased stuff floating around but i never heard a sublime song i didnt like

Was at one of the Mayhem Festivals and between acts on the main stage the started playing Santeria. 18,000 people started singing along it was an awesome spontaneous act.
