Biggest problem for me in this MV is that I absolutely didn't remember any of the girls. None of them stood out to me, and not because I doubt their skills but because the amount of stuff going on absolutely diverted my attention away from them.
I really agree with him. This debut is more of an introduction to the group.

As a debut song, it could have been better. Still, Lily's parts are giving so much TALENT. Kinda hate the company for the storyline tho.
Imagine training hard for years just to have your company give you a messy, rip-off SM song, plagiarizing other groups (Ateez, Aespa, Loona), tacky outfits, and everyone hates your debut song. They don't deserve that, this group has so much potential 😭
The plagiarism goes beyond some scenes in the MV. The company just copied Ateez's entire lore that KQ and Ateez themselves worked so hard to create since their debut. What makes fans angrier is that a company like JYP can get away with this and still be crazy successful but if a smaller company did that they would be forced to apologize and their group would suffer so much by being hated. Also, the MV is pretty cool, the girls have potential but the song is just bad. If you need to listen to it for at least 50 times for it to grow on you then that's not it. If it wasn't from a Big 3 group then no one would give them a chance.

i definitely agree with Jordan, they showed their skills in one whole video letting people know that they can pull out any concept. Plus it is just the beginning of NMMIX. :)

i dont know why people hate this group. this song actually is good after the more you hear it. this is just their debut and they have soo much potential.
i think i might be one of the few who found ABSOLUTELY no problem with it. i LOOOOOVE the song n i listen to it ALOT n still not sick of it. i rewatched the MV more times than i can count. their voices r just wow, and the dance practice is INSAAAAANE
actually in the first part of the song, they say "don't be surprised, this is just a teaser" so we'll wait and see what the girls give us next, they're so talented and we're not gonna deny it 💞💞
you addressed the issue so well jordan, as an atiny i really appreciate u addressing it and i really love watching your videos. I agree the mv was phenomenal but the song was kinda all over ur face but i wouldn't call it THE WORST debut ever. It's just they're a group from jyp one of the big 3 groups and expectations were suuper high so yeah.

I think the problem atiny’s are talking more about is the actual storyline? I remember my shock when I read the storyline nmixx is going for and how much it resembles ateez’s storyline.. overall I am just disappointed in jype for setting the girls up like that and for copying from groups from smaller companies 😬
thanks for mentioning about the plagiarism, just wanted to say that even if 7-10 similarities in music videos are ignored as mere "coincidence" the storyline certainly can NOT. ateez's whole storyline of being pirates who dream of a utopia, and set sail on a voyage to find it(while struggling with differentiating dreams and reality) was copied word for word. not even kidding every single word of atz's songs was in nmix's concept description. makes me sad to see big company artist's copy the hardwork of small company artist's and get away w it
Worst debut ever is an exaggeration, expectations were just high because they’re from JYPE. Admittedly the song doesn’t sound cohesive (to me) but it showcases their talents and potential. Definitely a rocky start from public reception tho.
I feel like kpop stans way too often force themselves to like music. It's okay to dislike a song or even an album and still be a fan of the group. It might make the feedback easier to read and improve their chances next time.
