I know, its super exaggerated. It's like people don't know that everyone has a preference and people who didn't liked this song for some reason really want to voice out their opinions that O.O or Dice sucked, but they just hated it and don't prefer that kind of music, like that is understandable but unnecessary hate is just so dumb. Nmixx is one of my favorite groups that debuted last year. They are arguably in my personal top 3. Every single member is extremely multi talented. Lily and Haewon’s voices are the best of the 4th gen girl groups. I love their concept of mix pop. Like you can’t get bored of a song since it changed us a lot. Idk I love it. They got a lot of hate at first because their songs were all over the place. But they literally were saying in the song that 0.0 was literally a teaser of what’s to come they are showing all the different genres they can do. I feel if their debut was promoted with what they were going to do with the mix pop and get it out to the public I feel they wouldn’t have gotten as much hate. Nonetheless I love them. All 7 now 6 members. Jinni the one with pink hair (blonde as u said) was my bias and she sadly left in December with no reasoning from either her or JYPE. They just parted ways. I hope it wasn’t due to the backlash they got and it was for personal reasons. But still love her and the girls nonetheless. She recently came back to IG so that’s something. Anyway I feel like you two will really like Nmixx and what they have to offer. They are extremely unique and amazing.

Honestly if you reacted first to their debut and the b-sides you will understand the concept and meaning because there is a story behind it and it's all planned since the beginning. Nmixx has a strong,Cool vibes and this debut song is actually a Bop! O.O is a novel genre known as "Mix Pop," and opinions were divided when we first debuted due to its unfamiliarity. However, the more you listen to it, the more it becomes a masterpiece, and it is now the representative song of NMIXX!
The production gap between the MVs of O.O. and Love Me Like This is crazy. A lot of people said that it's because they have to cut off a lot of scenes that included Jinni. Sullyoon did mention that they've been working on this comeback right after DICE. I feel bad for the girls for that. The music video of LMLT was a bit underwhelming.
NMIXX's debut has a b-side with it which you guys should definitely watch after doing their debut called "Tank" it has a dance practice but honestly you get the full experience with the Studio Choom. Then you would do "DICE" Which was Jinni's last comeback(not song her last song done was Funky Glitter Christmas) before she left the group due to "personal circumstances"
If about the title tracks yeah her last is Dice but if we are talking about a specific song it would be Funky Glitter Christmas(Its the Intermixxion Single released on November 2022)

Just wanna let you know that the intro part lyrics saying “whOOK whOOK, look at that moving eye, eyes, See this? shOOg, shOOG, shOOG, hOOK get into me more, good zOOM, zOOM , zOOM!” These are lyrics depicting ‘sound expressionism’ and it’s called “ONOMATOPOEIA” where you mimick sound through words or the formation of a word from a sound associated with what is named. But they took it into into the NEXT LEVEL! The ‘whOOK whOOK’ is the sound of eyes being ‘drawn’ or ‘focused’ into something in comics, while the “shOOG, shOOG, shOOG” is the sound of moving eyes trying to catch whatever its staring at (figuratively, it’s NMIXX dancing in the intro) and intensely the ‘zOOm zOOm’ visually pertaining for your ‘eyes’ to get closer to them-getting your full attention. Which is why the TITLE OF THE SONG ITSELF is “O.O” like this “😮” emoji. It’s trying to say “Watch Out, NMIXX is coming!”Look Out for The writers are genius for incorporating these kind of lyricism and you can only name few artist who are actually paying attention to a broader use of english words. One example is when Blackpink Lisa sang “Click, Clack, Barabim Baraboom” which incorporates onomatopoeia too because it’s a sound of a ticking bomb before it explode “click clack” and after it explode “barabim baraboom!” and YES, they are different from other groups because they don’t ride the trend like they don’t do music of what’s the most popular genre now, THEY ARE MAKING THEIR OWN REPUTATION by introducing as these STYLE IN MUSIC. Not to mention HOW TALENTED THEY ARE? They are truly INSANE!
I liked this song when it first came out and liked it even more after watching the performance, and it has continued to pop back into my head every now and then to this day. However, I don't think it's an understatement when I say this song was probably the most disliked debut from last year (and even one of the most disliked songs of last year). I think the main issue people had with the song was that sudden change up in the middle that was amplified by the cut to silence when Kyujin fell through the door (some people liked it better when they heard the studio version where there is no pause). But, people also disliked the coke ad, the lyrics, and just thought the song was messy overall. There was even further criticism about the group themselves with people accusing JYP of copying Aespa (due to the whole genre switch up thing in "Next Level") and even copying Ateez, ENHYPEN, and LOONA due to mainly their trailer concepts and m/v style (just to name a couple of reasons). This has led to NMIXX being a very divisive and controversial group. There was even a magazine interview they did where they briefly touched on their debut and it was kinda sad to read knowing the members knew people really hated it... Regardless, I think NSWERs are glad you two have been liking them so much.😊 They really are a talented group! Despite the criticisms, they have been praised so much for their dances and especially their singing. Can't wait to see you deep dive them!
I never disliked the song. But... the first time I listened to , I was so confused and even rewind a few seconds back before the switch up. Anyway, I am so excited for you guys for this journey.

It took me 2 months to enjoy this song but after a few listens, I appreciated it! That's why I never bash a song, just move on if I don't enjoy & probably come back to see if I like it, it's a see-saw effect lol
But looking at this now, MIXXPOP really is a showcase of what NMIXX are capable of doing - the genres of songs they can slay. They said it in O.O --- this is just a teaser. The real is about to come.
Basically they are from another world, came to this "distopia" and found this donuts store, "pick NMIXX" the title for this episode (teaser), and those candys, donuts and stuffs kinda drive them crazy (LSD vibes), okay, moving on their lore is all about the marine world, dolphin, whale, jellyfish. They want to find "somewhere over the rainbow, there is a place called lullaby", O.O has distopia, and utopia with "End World + Lullaby" concept video and TEASER soundtrack + Punk musical concept, Dice has utopia and crazyness with "Alice in Wonderland" concept video and Jazz + Trap musical concept, and now on Love me like this has anxiety and expectations with "Wizard of Oz" concept video and R&B + HipHop musical concept. I love this group, all rounder and furthermore they are hated to making their listeners think, this is really amazing 🤭
Every time I listen to O.O it's like I'm listening to it for the first time, it's just amazing:,) I dare say that people still don't understand what nmixx is, and what O.O is going to impact on future girl groups, O.O was a powerful song, a reference song, different and impressive, the truth is that, I still don't quite understand because people hated this song so much, nmixx is a step forward for me, but many people still can't see it, great talent and charisma characterizes them, they deserve much more support, really and let's not talk about all the content that they share with us, including the lore, I hope soon people can accept nmixx and recognize that they are charting their own path, they themselves told us before debuting, that it would not be easy, but little by little they achieving it and that makes me very happy, thanks for your support of nmixx💖 I clarify that I am not belittling any other group and that it is simply my opinion, what is unjustifiable is the hate they received on their debut, it was very sad, but they continued firm and strong:) 💗
A lot of people really hated the song when it came out saying it sounded like a bunch of songs badly put together but the mix of songs was literally the goal. Some parts had to grow on me but now I absolutely love the song although it isn't my fav nmixx song I still love listening to it!

Just wanna let you know that the intro part lyrics saying “whOOK whOOK, look at that moving eye, eyes, See this? shOOg, shOOG, shOOG, hOOK get into me more, good zOOM, zOOM , zOOM!”
These are lyrics depicting ‘sound expressionism’ and it’s called “ONOMATOPOEIA” where you mimick sound through words or the formation of a word from a sound associated with what is named. But they took it into into the NEXT LEVEL! The ‘whOOK whOOK’ is the sound of eyes being ‘drawn’ or ‘focused’ into something in comics, while the “shOOG, shOOG, shOOG” is the sound of moving eyes trying to catch whatever its staring at (figuratively, it’s NMIXX dancing in the intro) and intensely the ‘zOOm zOOm’ visually pertaining for your ‘eyes’ to get closer to them-getting your full attention. Which is why the TITLE OF THE SONG ITSELF is “O.O” like this “😮” emoji. It’s trying to say “Watch Out, NMIXX is coming!”Look Out for The writers are genius for incorporating these kind of lyricism and you can only name few artist who are actually paying attention to a broader use of english words.
One example is when Blackpink Lisa sang “Click, Clack, Barabim Baraboom” which incorporates onomatopoeia too because it’s a sound of a ticking bomb before it explode “click clack” and after it explode “barabim baraboom!”
and YES, they are different from other groups because they don’t ride the trend like they don’t do music of what’s the most popular genre now, THEY ARE MAKING THEIR OWN REPUTATION by introducing as these STYLE IN MUSIC. Not to mention HOW TALENTED THEY ARE? They are truly INSANE!
I liked this song when it first came out and liked it even more after watching the performance, and it has continued to pop back into my head every now and then to this day. However, I don't think it's an understatement when I say this song was probably the most disliked debut from last year (and even one of the most disliked songs of last year).
I think the main issue people had with the song was that sudden change up in the middle that was amplified by the cut to silence when Kyujin fell through the door (some people liked it better when they heard the studio version where there is no pause). But, people also disliked the coke ad, the lyrics, and just thought the song was messy overall. There was even further criticism about the group themselves with people accusing JYP of copying Aespa (due to the whole genre switch up thing in "Next Level") and even copying Ateez, ENHYPEN, and LOONA due to mainly their trailer concepts and m/v style (just to name a couple of reasons). This has led to NMIXX being a very divisive and controversial group. There was even a magazine interview they did where they briefly touched on their debut and it was kinda sad to read knowing the members knew people really hated it...
Regardless, I think NSWERs are glad you two have been liking them so much.😊 They really are a talented group! Despite the criticisms, they have been praised so much for their dances and especially their singing. Can't wait to see you deep dive them!
You should watch the live performance or official audio without the pause before the switch up it sounds a loot cooler.

Despite what people said when this first came out. To me it was a strong solid debut, and i love both the title and the bside Tank both so addicting!

Some of their dance practices is a must coz this group has the most synchronized dance in 4th gen tbh, i recommend LMLT “stage practice” you’ll surely amaze how they did a dance practice here while singing, and what i mean is LIVE and no backing vocal only backup instrument! What crazy is they did the exact studio version of it while dancing i mean you will hear a lot like harmonies, adlibs, belting and highnotes in that practice LIVE and they’re so freakin’ STABLE‼️💯🔥

It took me 2 months to enjoy this song but after a few listens, I appreciated it! That's why I never bash a song, just move on if I don't enjoy & probably come back to see if I like it, it's a see-saw effect lol

They want to find "somewhere over the rainbow, there is a place called lullaby", O.O has distopia, and utopia with "End World + Lullaby" concept video and TEASER soundtrack + Punk musical concept, Dice has utopia and crazyness with "Alice in Wonderland" concept video and Jazz + Trap musical concept, and now on Love me like this has anxiety and expectations with "Wizard of Oz" concept video and R&B + HipHop musical concept. I dare say that people still don't understand what nmixx is, and what O.O is going to impact on future girl groups, O.O was a powerful song, a reference song, different and impressive, the truth is that, I still don't quite understand because people hated this song so much, nmixx is a step forward for me, but many people still can't see it, great talent and charisma characterizes them, they deserve much more support, really
and let's not talk about all the content that they share with us, including the lore, I hope soon people can accept nmixx and recognize that they are charting their own path, they themselves told us before debuting, that it would not be easy, but little by little they achieving it and that makes me very happy,

A lot of people really hated the song when it came out saying it sounded like a bunch of songs badly put together but the mix of songs was literally the goal. Some parts had to grow on me but now I absolutely love the song although it isn't my fav nmixx song I still love listening to it!
