@@hellshound3154 It is not a 2019 game made with millions of dollars, it was made by 10 people. It has many flaws to it but personally i've been enjoying it and am doing my 2nd playthrough already.
You should look into game modding, but the steam forums moderators looks down on it... I wonder if Deep Silver hates mods. The entire game can be easily reversed engineered by hackers, so it might be possible to see a 4 player co-op mod down the line?
Spoiler: not all enemies in the game bleed. Constructs, plenty of undead, at least a few bosses. Sure, if it's alive you can bleed it to death - just did a battleaxe playthrough that relied on that.
Just picked up this game recently. I'm hooked. My faith was dying out but this game has brought my passion to life again. Thank you for uploading this and supporting the game.

Dakota Evans the games not that good.. they dropped the ball. Even if it was a small team they should have worked out the kinks before release. In today’s world we cannot afford to just walk everywhere without fast travel... that being said it would be awesome to be able to scan environment and use it as a beacon to know where exactly it is you are on the map considering that the environment is completely bland... even Zeldas Breath of the Wild’s map is distinguishable from other areas. The topography in the map looks awful. They missed their mark when it came to using landmarks. Also how is a campfire, a torch and lantern not enough to keep me warm but as soon as I leave area I start freezing even after drinking tea? Very frustrating. But I endure...
@@vie2210 Theyve fixed out all the kinks, I don't know what you're talking about lol. And also, staying warm isn't an issue in this game at all. Its actually probably one of the easiest things to do.
Small issue with this build I'd like to address, there are several types of enemies in the game that completely resist bleeding and extreme bleeding. Some of those enemies include, purple and red ghosts/sword and beast golems/obsideon elementals/The first cannibal (unique wendigo). It's a really nice ranged build at the end of the day, but if you don't pick up the rogue sneaking buff in lavant to stay hidden, there will be enemies this doesn't work on.
That is probably what I am missing to make this build work. Stuff just does not die all that fast in my game. I am guessing the damage amount has been altered otherwise.

Thank you for this vid! My husband and I have been playing this game together and I went for the mage build and he the archer, but he didn’t know where to start as far as getting more powerful with his bow. This definitely helped!
The piercing shot is soooo good... You can literally shoot something and stay out of it’s vision and wait for it to die. Just check up on it’s bleed once in a while and shoot it again if it stopped bleeding.
Please do more builds videos. Id really like to see how you put together other "classes". Your Skyrim builds videos helped me immensely when I was struggling with play style as did you weapons and armor videos. I always go Deathbrand, Bloodscyth, and Soul Render thanks to you.
5:37 In case you didn't know, the rage boon isn't actually consumed when you use predator leap, you can use it as soon as the cooldown from the last use runs out as long as the rage boon is still active. So it's actually insanely good of a skill because you can activate the rage boon and leap chained into that top skill that I believe does way more damage if the enemy is on the floor, and the predator leap has a lot of impact damage so it's kinda crazy...
This build is still strong in the current version of Outward, but extreme bleeding got extremely nerfed (from 300% of enemies total health to 25%). Also, it dosn't work on every enemy: golems, ghosts, undead etc. are immune to bleeding. Just think a little bit before you wonder why certain enemies don't die. But this build is still viable, although i recommend using the poison dot from the horror bow.
I've been looking for a current bow build that works, been struggling. Things are still dying with horror and piercing shot but feels lack luster compared to apparently what it used to be.

Wow, they have totally nerfed this. I just recently started playing the game, mostly because I wanted to play with a build like this. It's still fun, but...
Totally nerfed. I spent an hour of gameplay getting my one shot weapon, went out eagerly to test it on a deer (coralhorn), shot the deer, waited and waited and waited. Deer only lost 2/3 of health. When I came close to examine it, the animal attacked and I was a goner. So yeah. It's still one shot. But that shot ultimately kills YOU instead of your enemy (if you aren't careful).
yes its nerfed quite alot, the horror bow now is normal poison instead of extreme and even the extreme bleeding ticks really slow.. even with +29% dmg gear set i need several arrow for most enemies, still ok tho once your fully geared but a pain to go archer before grabbing everything.. Only mob I can one host is the hyenas at first zone, most humans take 2 shots and runing around 10 secs.. not to mention the poison is a chance to apply so not always will trigger. And.. with trader gear youll need one more arrow compared to my scaled dmg set.

Idk they may have stolen it from you, may have not. I literally made the SAME build without watching yours or anyone elses videos myself on my first playthrough as I wanted to do an archery based build. Only difference was I had the bird mask for its movement speed over the master trader hat even though you likely use it for the stamina reduction ontop of the move speed. There aren't much options with the bows weapon wise. And due to how much STAMINA they take to use as a primary weapon the master trader getup is a super quick and easy go to to deal with that draw back. Finally I'm not aware of any other bow skills outside of those 3? So over all the build is kinda shoe horned on you if you WANT to play a archer Play-Style without it being nearly unuseable.
@@THEmobius77 To give him the benefit the build is the hunter class + the armor set he uses. But as I said previously its a pretty easy to fall upon build so stating its stolen is a little silly. Yeah, I found you recently and he and many others have similar builds to yours; could be coincidence, since the game doesn't have *that* much depth for builds.
Tip: The white chickens in the starting zone has a very small chance of dropping Pearlbird Mask which has 20% movement speed. With MTG Chest/boots + Mercenary skill (+10% move speed) + Assassin Elixir = 65% Movement speed BOOOM you will be Blazin through zones (u can throw in the Marathoner skill from mercenary for good measures - 40% reduced stamina when sprinting) Hope this helps :)
I have paired this skill with a war bow, rogue skills, manticore dagger, and assassin sword. I can get confusion, pain, extreme bleed and poison up on a target. I then use opportunistic strike to execute.
Just so u guys are aware, the predator leap ability is very powerful, so if you're not going for a bow build, definitely consider choosing it, as it sometimes allows me to even 1 shot multiple grouped up bandits.
Piercing Shot = Extreme Bleeding + Pearlbird Mask + Master Trader Garp + Master Trader Boots = 40% Increased Movement Speed = HIT&RUN I know that your movement speed can be even higher but these items are easy to get in Chersonese (Pearlbird Mask may require grinding :P )
this guy actually has a guaranteed spawn in one of the nearby bandit camps. it’s the one by the blue guild mountain entrance. it has a key which opens a gate to an ornate chest. i’ve encountered it in the same spot in 5 games so it’s deffineitly guaranteed.
If any one is having problems with inventory despairing dropping your entire inventory and saving with all your stuff on the floor will keep your inventory safe and you will not loose anything.
I came across the wendigo as I was traveling at the early stages of the game and took it down in melee combat with a litch club or whatever it's called. 28 damage and an additional 10 from lightning. Very satisfying kill for sure. I will be trying this child tho. Love how and eager characters
That is why I keep Fire Sigil and Spark on my shortcuts on my Archer build. Having a lightweight alternative damage source is generally always a good idea.
You should definitely check out the Horror Bow. Also inflicts Extreme Poison on the enemy for even more damage over time and quicker kills. Also just has higher base damage and does some decay damage so you can double-dip on physical/decay damage boosts.
Sorry for being "that guy" - but met a vendigo, and didn`t really know it was meant to be very dangerous creature. After some poking with sticks, it died - I celebrated. That said, you get to be that guy who showed me that this game existed, so you win! Keep up the groovy videos, and thank you for helpful tips.
The first time i met one it absolutely destroyed me. But bleed seems to effect every creature in the game so if you find something you struggle with you can use it still.
@@ESOdanny I only used a halberd and heavy attacks, but hey - as long as it went splat - I`m as happy as Larry, who`s apparently a happy dude. Picked up a Prayer Claymore though, which works pretty well, but have to try out some bow now after seeing this.
Fantastic ! Until now I only kill wendingos (or whatever it is spelled) with 10 traps filled with iron spikes, or doing the pistol shot and run play, using the merchant's boots and the bird mask (+20% movement speed). The ingredient you said can be looted from a very damn nasty creature passing "the fort" (which is filled with bloody ghosts). To kill that beast I spend 30 arrows from the recurved bow, and 10 rounds of the normal pistol.
Yet another awesome build video from Deadly Danny. It really is good to see how different bows look in this game compared to any other RPG. Another playthrough that i think would be good to do on your channel is Fallout 3 Point Lookout. Be well and keep safe, regards Gary.
Lol, I'm diggin the street lamp ya rigged to hang over your head. Guess there was no attach to waist option? I'm a bit of a torch guy myself but hell lol, whatever works right... .
It WOULD work on everything, except for the fact not all enemies bleed. My buddy uses the same hit and run build, he uses rune magic on the enemies that dont bleed and if its one of the lightning automata in the marsh he uses mana mines
Kill the white chicken animals in the beginning and get a chicken helm that gives 20% movement speed. That with the trader armor and boots and ur hauling ass. It's a rare drop but keep killing and ur eventually get it.
Do a rune gunner. It's fun running three kinds of pistol. Yes THREE lol. Rune healing, rune lantern, rune traps, runic lightning. And skycrown mace for melee. Got fire, ice, lightning, ethereal and strong physical damage. And tons of fun
I would say that yes it works really well but the wendigo can be found in *specific* locations, not random lol. They are tough enemies tho you are right. And your build is very good too. I like the melee assassin build more than the ranged one tho. This makes me want to play an archer too so thanks for the vid.
This works with all weapons that induce bleed damage. I would not call it a one-hit weapon or technique because the bleed is ticking down their health. This also won't work with all enemies( Not going to spoil any). A cheaper way would get a dagger-like rondel's or the broad blades you can buy from the start. It is a good ranged attack though.
I really enjoy how most youtube channels are moving away from having their face pointlessly on the videos that do nothing but obstruct what people came to see...*hint* its not some random person's face staring into a monitor.
The worst part of this video was the fact that it came out on April 1st. So I didn't take it seriously until I visited the city of Berg and found everything I needed to make this happen!
Bleeding will only work against biotic enemies. Mechanical enemies and the dead will fuck you up if you try this. Get the obsidian pistol for the Burn DoT to handle the creatures immune to bleed.
I might try it for a weird different reason - namely I utterly hated the melee combat in this game 😹 to the level of uninstalling the whole thing with only a couple of hours of play
Will you be making an overall review of Outward? Going over your initial and final thoughts as well as any issues you have? I've seen your first look and I'm just wondering how your thoughts are evolving now that you've had more time with the game.
After having more time to play i would say this game is fantastic in coop, the pacing solo can sometimes be rather slow and boring unless you enjoy running around allot farming for gold to buy new weapons/skills. The game has many flaws but i find it very new and refreshing overall and i'm rather addicted to it atm.
Thanks for the video Danny. Any news on whether they plan to fix the inventory missing bug when logging out? I have to shelve this game until they fix it, happened to me twice already, not fun!
Skip the Coralhorn bow and go straight for the Horror Bow imo. The horror chitin you need is super easy to get at the Cabal of the Wind Temple that is southwest of Berg. In the temple, you lure all the big fuckers into the middle room and lock them in there, then run upstairs and pull the lever to instakill all of them. Run down and grab all the shit you need to make the bow. I had my Horror Bow on ingame day 5 or 6 by doing this. Also, if you kill everything in the temple using this method, the door will open and give you the best Halberd in the game as well, which is a fucking awesome backup weapon for when mobs get too close. Hope this helps you fuckers.
@@dixnyomouff6982 - Hey, thanks for taking the time to answer, but I posted that 5 months ago. I've finished the game already. But on the bright side I did find that back pack at a vendors.
Majber depends on what kind of mage you want to be, I made my own arcane gravekeeper gunslinger using shaman, mercenary, and philosopher. The build is only dependent on your weapon and skill trees so you can fashion it up if you want. Skills I use on my hot bar are Blood bullet, impact shot, fire/reload, possessed boon, spark, reveal soul, conjure, then a free quickslot for either the weapon skill choice you want or an item. I advice against going high mana reduction on mages since it actually burns the fun factor out fast, my advice is stop around roughly 30 or 40% mana reduction on any mage build and mix armor sets for other stats you want because spark and reveal soul are enough and mana potions are super easy to stock up on since the two ingredients are super common and you get 3 potions per craft.
Yeah I really wanted to do an archer build got the skills for archery I could find and then got the horror bow which does intense poison and so I shoot something with the heavy then the bleed and watch their hp just melt over time lol
The Fang GreatAxe can kill a wendigo in 1 heavy combo attack, and you can that weapon within 5 minutes of starting the game. Kill 2 hyenas for 2 predator bones break down your tattered robes for linen cloth and buy a iron great axe for 25 silver from the blacksmith in town. Then you take those items put them in the crafting slots in your menu and boom you can dish out over 100 dps
Why are you using the coralhorn bow? Pain only works with physical damage so you either have to keep shooting or get up close. Should use the horror bow for bleeding and poison.

Man I ordered this game yesterday and I'm getting it Tuesday! Cant wait to play it!
Piercing Shot = Extreme Bleeding
+
Pearlbird Mask + Master Trader Garp + Master Trader Boots = 40% Increased Movement Speed
= HIT&RUN
I know that your movement speed can be even higher but these items are easy to get in Chersonese (Pearlbird Mask may require grinding :P )
Sweet, just arrived in Berg and I have all I need except the horns, I'll be making this today!
Bro! Thanks , i love sniper bow builds and this game is awesome with bows.
this guy actually has a guaranteed spawn in one of the nearby bandit camps. it’s the one by the blue guild mountain entrance. it has a key which opens a gate to an ornate chest. i’ve encountered it in the same spot in 5 games so it’s deffineitly guaranteed.
That wendigo was dope!
If any one is having problems with inventory despairing dropping your entire inventory and saving with all your stuff on the floor will keep your inventory safe and you will not loose anything.
i finally got outward I can’t wait to play !
I came across the wendigo as I was traveling at the early stages of the game and took it down in melee combat with a litch club or whatever it's called. 28 damage and an additional 10 from lightning. Very satisfying kill for sure. I will be trying this child tho. Love how and eager characters
Ghost type, Golem type enemies are bleed-resistant. There might be more. Then again, that is probably the way to balance this ability out.
Also just has higher base damage and does some decay damage so you can double-dip on physical/decay damage boosts.
caffiend81 he said that in the video
Love the work ESO! buying the game due to your coverage. Cheers
Pouch size increased is amazing aswell.
Ghost are nearly impervious to physical damage, you need to do elemental damage to kill them...
@@dra6o0n Enough traps do the work, and traps are very cheap by the way
Yet another awesome build video from Deadly Danny.
I’m loving the game and enjoying your videos, please keep them coming 🦑🦑🦑
Kill the white chicken animals in the beginning and get a chicken helm that gives 20% movement speed. That with the trader armor and boots and ur hauling ass. It's a rare drop but keep killing and ur eventually get it.
As ive said before...you sir are a true geniuse
Do a rune gunner. It's fun running three kinds of pistol. Yes THREE lol. Rune healing, rune lantern, rune traps, runic lightning. And skycrown mace for melee. Got fire, ice, lightning, ethereal and strong physical damage. And tons of fun
Try killing with bleed a spectral or skeleton or a metal monster
They don't bleed, I use a bow that inflicts extreme poison and there are just some enemies immune to both
@@austintaylor1171 thats what he was pointing out aha. Carry a sword or use magic as a back up
You need 1200 Siver cause you need the skill below it first.
I would say that yes it works really well but the wendigo can be found in *specific* locations, not random lol. They are tough enemies tho you are right. And your build is very good too. I like the melee assassin build more than the ranged one tho. This makes me want to play an archer too so thanks for the vid.
Nice, currently building an archer build :D
Hey hey great video
This works with all weapons that induce bleed damage. I would not call it a one-hit weapon or technique because the bleed is ticking down their health. This also won't work with all enemies( Not going to spoil any). A cheaper way would get a dagger-like rondel's or the broad blades you can buy from the start. It is a good ranged attack though.
Yeah, the extreme bleed and poisons do damage fast. He hasn't likely gotten to the desert yet. The desert is so tough.
LOVE THE OUTWARD VIDEOS!!!
I really enjoy how most youtube channels are moving away from having their face pointlessly on the videos that do nothing but obstruct what people came to see...*hint* its not some random person's face staring into a monitor.
ur video can let me learn so many things!
i like how he just changed his shirt
Thanks for this build! Really helped my game
Good grief I am so excited to start playing this tonight!
You can also get three mana stones from breaking down a Troglodyte mage staff.
This is why I don't like playing as a sneaky archer in video games. Ranged combat is overpowered in most games.
This is awesome! Thank you!!
I might try it for a weird different reason - namely I utterly hated the melee combat in this game 😹 to the level of uninstalling the whole thing with only a couple of hours of play
Woot finally got the horror bow
Not a fix but a work around it only gets rid of things in your backpack so if you pocket everything you shouldn't lose anything
Be carefull with bows they can disappear in mid fight.........
good video, wendigo is not strong at all however i killed one pretty easily with complete pleb gear at start of the game
love your content man!
Hi, what do you think about a runic archer? (I have already all the runes).
The bleeding effect still working with the last patch?
Bows and dodge are broken atm, occasionally when you dodge with a bow equipped, it disappears from your inventory..
yes, im so mad at that... all i wanted was to make a bow build and my bows just keep disappearing, so i had to turn mage at some point
Never mind the One Hit kill Bow, where do you get that pole that allows your lantern to hang in front of you?
It's a back pack, forgot which one
@@dixnyomouff6982 - Hey, thanks for taking the time to answer, but I posted that 5 months ago. I've finished the game already. But on the bright side I did find that back pack at a vendors.
@@donmiller2908 prosecutor bag.
My tactic for these wendigo guys is drop a rune mine on a fire sigil, then spark, mana ward, spark, and if you don't get hit by him you win
Can you please do a guide on mages and spells? There is literally no guides besides "where find a place for getting mana" .
There is quite enough about mages and spells to find online. Do you have any specific questions tho?
Majber depends on what kind of mage you want to be, I made my own arcane gravekeeper gunslinger using shaman, mercenary, and philosopher. The build is only dependent on your weapon and skill trees so you can fashion it up if you want.
Skills I use on my hot bar are
Blood bullet, impact shot, fire/reload, possessed boon, spark, reveal soul, conjure, then a free quickslot for either the weapon skill choice you want or an item.
Yeah I really wanted to do an archer build got the skills for archery I could find and then got the horror bow which does intense poison and so I shoot something with the heavy then the bleed and watch their hp just melt over time lol
the trravel took so long he even need to change his clothes
Killed a wendago with 15 tripwires
Lol
Just like killing Super Mutants in fallout by dropping mines in front of them.
:D
Excellent video, thnks you very much!!!!
I really enjoy your videos...
How does he have items in his pockets and in his bag and yet they read 0 weight? Look at the 6 minute mark...
He is using mods.
Meh get the horror bow and stack extreme poison and then bleed as well. I got lucky though and found a war bow near berg.
So you're basically shooting them with arrows dipped in 1000x powerful blood thinner?
I dare you to say ‘ one hit kill bow build guide’ 5 times in a row very fast :)
Can't name a RPG game where Bows aren't op.
Way to accurate
Dark souls
The Witcher 3
Kingdom come deliverence. At first lol
morrowind
Anybody else’s bleed not working when they use the skill?
Yes. It's frustrating as I can get one shot every other reload.
to optain pearcing shot we need 1100 not 600 m8. anyways really it's game changer Thank you
The skill cost 600
@@urieldraconis857 u can't buy the skill if u dont open 1st the passive for 500 .
Yeah, the dots in this game needs some rework, theyre just ridiculous. Goes for bleeding, posion and fire.
ya horror bow pairs well with this skill.
Drogon age is like Skyrim
The Fang GreatAxe can kill a wendigo in 1 heavy combo attack, and you can that weapon within 5 minutes of starting the game. Kill 2 hyenas for 2 predator bones break down your tattered robes for linen cloth and buy a iron great axe for 25 silver from the blacksmith in town. Then you take those items put them in the crafting slots in your menu and boom you can dish out over 100 dps
Mining Mana Crystals? Nah. Go kill a bunch of Mage Trogs and break down their staves.
Why are you using the coralhorn bow? Pain only works with physical damage so you either have to keep shooting or get up close. Should use the horror bow for bleeding and poison.
