    Hello my dears. Your whole video are very interesting and the most crucial information transfer,guide and show that the true direction to me and I would like to thank you so much but I have abit question here it is ,is it important my driving licence Changing in to international?

    • @simplegermany
      @simplegermany  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You don't need an international drivers license for Germany. However, your foreign license expires after 6 months of living in Germany and you would need to change it to a German one. We talk about it more in our guide: www.simplegermany.com/german-driving-license/

    Very informative. Do you know if there is an age requirement? I’m currently working on my German citizenship (through my mom), but am thinking of going to Germany earlier and getting a language visa/residence. I’m almost 60.

      @Francebound2024 21 วันที่ผ่านมา

    Thank you so much! Frankfurt Ausländerbehörde doesn't require specifically blocked account for the Chancenkarte as a prove of sufficient funds. With that, do you know if bank statement from the us bank acct under my name would be sufficient? Thank you

      @simplegermany  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      If you are in contact with the Ausländerbehörde in Frankfurt please ask them directly.

      @@simplegermany they are unreachable - like a fortress))) the only way to Kontakt them before submitting an application is by filling out a question form online after and....it says it will take 2-3 months to receive a response 😂 (I have to laugh so that I don't cry) 😂)

    • @karinwenzel6361
      @karinwenzel6361 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Surely, a bank statement is not sufficient - you could withdraw the whole amount or close the account a day after presenting the statement!
      From the website of the Goethe-Universität Frankfurt/Main. (There are two Frankfurts in Germany, so make sure you contact the right Immigration Office.)
      "How can you prove that your living expenses are covered?
      - You show a Declaration of Commitment pursuant to § 68 Residence Act (that is, a German resident declares to cover your living expenses (>> further information) or
      - you pay a security deposit (€ 11.208) into a blocked account or
      - you provide a bank guarantee (€ 11.208), such a guarantee has to be renewed on a yearly basis, or an employment contract. If your income as shown in the employment contract is less than € 934 per month, only such lower amount is accepted as security and the difference must be provided for by different means. If your employment contract is for less than one year, the residence permit can only be extended for a shorter period of time)."

    can i work in a German bank in Germany and open a block account. asking because i currently have an eu visa but trying to apply for job seeking visa.

  • @hamzanaser5149
    @hamzanaser5149 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Hi, just a quick question, does fintiba also work for job seeking applicants? I opened an account with fintiba and I specified that I want it for the chancenkarte, but then it gave me a health insurance for students and they also asked me the start of the study semester even though I put at first that I want it for the chancenkarte.
    Is this normal, do they accept that health insurance or should I do something?

    • @simplegermany
      @simplegermany  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes, it should work, however, you will most likely need different health insurance. Please reach out to their customer support.

    So in this case can i withdraw whatever i want from the account using the ATMs ?
    Or how its working exactly?

    • @simplegermany
      @simplegermany  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Your blocked account provider will deposit your monthly allowance into your German bank account (which you have to open once you’re in Germany). And it depends on the bank in how many cash withdrawals you can do a month at an ATM. We have more details on our guide: www.simplegermany.com/best-blocked-account-germany/#How_to_withdraw_money_from_your_blocked_account_once_in_Germany

    Is it a requirement to have a blocked account, as a U.S citizen? I heard that substitutes can be used, we just have to prove we actually have the amount.

    • @simplegermany
      @simplegermany  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

      Why should US citizens be able to prove that they have the amount in different ways than other citizens? Ask your embassy when in doubt.

    I don’t understand so if i want to open a bank account now i have to put money for a whole year before even applying for a visa??

    • @simplegermany
      @simplegermany  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      A blocked account is a specific account to “park” money in it. It is needed for certain visas like the Chancenkarte and student visa. It has a completely different purpose than a normal bank account. For a normal bank account, you can watch this other video on the topic: th-cam.com/video/GjRG1IBV5hU/w-d-xo.htmlsi=zL1EKLzv5Bqx3nKW
