When i hold any knife that costs more than a Mora all i can think of is Wayne's World when they met Alice Cooper... "I'm not worthy! I'm not worthy!" That AS is a beaut.

Finally, a real knife comparison, and not a commercial. I agree Joe, a knife is good if it works for you. Who cares what it costs or who makes it. Thanks for being real.

your last comment was the best!!!! It is just a knife and people get caught up in that fact, me included. But i have a draw full and have turned into somewhat a collector of high end knives. i have favourites and a daily carry but to someone uneducated they are a piece of steel and an edge.

"Crappy sheath" Damn, I thought it was a custom job, I think it looks great!
Good knives. So far I've only got a Mora Companion HD for a fixed blade, but she does me good. Your closing statement is so spot on. I think too many people get hung up on minute while there's people out living in the bush every day with nothing more than a sharpened piece of leaf spring. Great video!

I have been watching your channel for a while. No clue why I haven't subscribed until today. Thanks for the great content. I am a knife nut. Just love collecting knives but your closing statement about them being a chunk of steel is so true. Just keep it sharp and most knives will do the job.

All very nice choices. I always carry a Leatherman aside from a primary blade. It comes in super handy and I find myself using it more often than not. But once again, it all comes down to personal preference. Good video; keep up the good work!

Thanks man, great info. Seeing them side by side, I may be switching my stance. I fell in love with the AS from the first vid of yours I ever watched . Joe, I notice since your TV debut that a string always accompanies that fire steel. Nice video: I can't tell you how many BCUSA posts I see with the opening words, "Which knife should I go for?" "Which axe should I buy?" Glad to see experienced advice for the inexperienced on buying and using equipment. My axe and knife are both older than you. So is my Optima 123 stove. All are still used and appreciated. You are too. Thanks again..............Ross
