How to charge JVC Everio batteries via camera or charger

- JVC Everio batteries and how to charge them. Here are two ways of getting them charged up.
The first way involves connecting the camera to the AC adapter that the camera came supplied with. Remove the rubber tab on the bottom right hand corner of the camera and find the connector. Plug in the cord and then to the wall socket for power.
Slide the battery into place till it clicks. The green light will begin to blink meaning the battery is charging and will stay solid green when fully charged.
method two involved using a separate battery charger which is sold separately. You can then attach the battery to it following the arrow and connecting it to the wall. In case of the external charger. This one has a red light when charging and then a green light when complete.

Hello, I was wondering how you transfer the videos and photos to your computer? I’m having a hard time being able to see videos/pictures from my sd card. Maybe im using the wrong card? Tried to change the format but it doesn’t budge.

Just found my old one in storage. Turned it on after 5 years and by accident forgot to turn off the camcorder before closing it🤦♂️ So now it won’t charge and turn on 😡! It was kept in the appropriate bag so it can’t be an issue with dust? Hopefully the video files are safe. What could it be??? Old battery? Faulty firmware?
Update: My entire house was out of power. Everything is all good😂🤙

Hi! I have one of these camcorders and I've been trying to find the right charger/DC cable to actually charge it. I haven't been able to find the right charger, so if you know any cheap ones (like max of 20$) that would work then that would be great!

Do you know how long the camcorder would usually take to charge with the battery?
If the battery is new it takes about an hour and depending on how long you use it, it can last for several hours of filming before charge. If you have an older battery, charging takes several hours and usually does not last long. I suggest a new battery for best results.
i bought the adapter and for some reason my battery does not click into it it just balances and there’s a light on my plug in adapter that goes green to say it’s been charged but then my camera turns on for only a second and dies? my camera worked fine before but i left the original charger on holiday :(

Hi Dona, after a period of time the battery does drain, I would recommend you get a new battery, it's worth it to see if the camera works. Would you like me to give you a link?

Hi, if you are asking will the camera charge the battery the answer is yes, you can just connect the battery to the camera and plug it in, then toggle the switch to off and it will charge the battery. Otherwise you can get an external charger like I have
my battery charger has an extra tab sticking out so the battery wont fit in the charger correctly

Well, connecting the Audio Video is similar but the charging is specific to the JVC camera

Hi Blaine, at the time these cameras were manufactured the usb was only for transferring audio and video, so that why they have a dedicated plug for ac power

I have for 2TB I’m not sure on the brand it just says memory card ultra and had a micro Sd adapter
@@laurawhelancostello5999 hi, yes the camera is a bit older so a smaller card like a 32gb or even a 64gb will work better, when the camera was made they had not invented 2tb cards yet. The camera also has 30gb of internal memory. Try a smaller card and I think it will work better.

@@laurawhelancostello5999 I have filmed many concerts and a bunch of Vlogs, you be surprised at how much space that is. If anything you can get two cards and switched them as you go.
