I just wanted to let you guys know that I edited this recipe just a little, I felt like 2 tablespoons of baking powder was really way too much so I only added one and a half teaspoons. I also added a quarter cup of almond flour and it made it so much more bread like!! I definitely recommend y’all try that!!

I made this without sweetener and vanilla. I used pepper instead. then as I poured it in the pan, I layred it with cooked bacon crumbles and spinach for a more savory egg loaf. Both are so good! I recommend unsalted butter. Thank you Mayra!

Excellent recipe. I love your cooking videos and appreciate that you make them.
Tip: I learned that when cooking eggs in the oven, instead of taking the loaf immediately out of the oven, if you just crack the oven door and let it cool slowly, it won't collapse so dramatically. I have the loaf cooling slightly on a cutting board and it's holding its shape.

I made these morning and they turned out amazing! They were devoured quickly! I grew up eating French Toast almost every Sunday morning and after going Keto, that was one of the only bread items I missed. I tried making French Toast with a couple of different Keto breads but it never turned out. This will be my new go to French Toast! Thanks Myra!

I just wanted to say thank you for all of your recipes, I know they take a lot of work to create but we really appreciate them. My husband is a diabetic and he had surgery last year and his blood sugars have been ALL over the place since then and we decided to get him back on Keto and they finally stabilized. I really appreciate the meal ideas and especially not using almond flower, for some reason he doesn't like it, I guess it's the taste? Anyway, thank you so much for your work and making my life a little easier!!!!

I made it at 1½ recipe because I have a long loaf pan... worked great as advertised. Changed the spice a little; I used ¼ tsp cinnamon & ⅛ tsp nutmeg in the batter. I also sprinkled nutmeg on top of batter before baking. The house smelled amazing. Both of my sons, who don't eat Keto but love French toast, said I could make it for them anytime. My youngest saying he liked it better than regular French toast. Thank you😊

For the people who say it's too eggy. Maybe remove half the egg yolks and replace with more egg white or cream cheese. That's what I do with oppsie/cloud bread and they still come out perfect. I'm an egg whites eater. I really dislike the taste of egg yolks. So through the years I've learned how to improvise. 👍

This is hands down the BEST French toast I've ever tasted! & it's not a "suitable substitute," it really IS French toast! Amazing!!! The textures & flavors are spot-on: moist, chewy, spongy, eggy, creamy & "cinnamon-y" in ALL the right ways. My husband loved it as much as I did. We both have big appetites so we got two servings out of the loaf instead of four, but so what? Only two carbs for each of us & since we eat two meals a day, the extra calories were still within our daily limits.

I tried it and the flour does something awesome for the texture.
I even made this just now (but with more cinnamon) for breakfast....it is soooooo good.

If you look in the description it's not really maple syrup, it's maple flavored choczero syrup and most likely powdered swerve.

I made these for breakfast and I was doubtful I would like it because of so many eggs and I don’t like the eggy taste in food. But thought I would give it a try anyways because I miss French toast and it’s hard being low carb and having to be gluten free because of celiac disease I’ve had for 10+ years but these were amazing!!! Thank you so much again for all your great recipes.

I finally made this today and it was delicious and sooo filling! I used Sukrin gold for the sweetener and I also added 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon to the mix as well as sprinkled on top. My loaf made 8 slices so I may have a shorter loaf pan and also the ends were kind of gooey but that was easily fixed once fried up in my buttered pan. I was full with two but had 3 because they so yummy lol. I have a couple more breakfasts ready to go this week. I will definitely make this again :) Thank you so much for sharing your recipes

@@LowCarbLove Also, I forgot to mention that after eating this tasty French toast sticks, I have not been hungry since. I may just consider doing an egg fast for the rest of the week. I've lost 85 lbs and haven't been able get past onederland for the past few months and it's so frustrating. I've tried an egg fast once in the past and lost 9 lbs in 3 days (didn't put the weight back on and lost more on regular strict keto). I think I need to get back on and give it another go. Thank you so much for this channel. You're amazing, Mayra!

I just wanted to let you guys know that I had to edit this recipe just a little, I felt like 2 tablespoons of baking powder was a really way too much so I only added one and ahalf teaspoons I also added a quarter cup of almond flour and it made it so much more bread like!! I definitely recommend y’all try that!!

I LOVE this recipe. I actually make a fruit compote with strawberries/blueberries/swerve and add on top and it hits the spot for that French toast craving. And there’s enough to keep for another serving or two throughout the week. Thank you so much Mayra for what you do!!!

Love this recipe so much! I’m a French toast lover and was absolutely THRILLED how great it was to make this!! My husband and I are hooked!!
I have a question about after baking it. Can you let it cool over night and then do the cooking of the slices the next morning on the skillet? Or is it something that has to be done all at once? Don’t want to ruin what I’m baking right now! Thanks

Hey Mira! I tried this recipe and I love it, the only thing is I had to leave it for about 40 minutes and It did not deflate. Maybe it was because I used one of those silicon loaf pans. I love it with fruit which I did not have on hand, but Bacon did the trick. Thanks for sharing.
