I don't understand why a costume should not just bunch up. Anyway what I don't with the suit is that it's thick and the collar. Superman is supposed to hide the superhero costume inside a business suit. This is why Chris Reeves and the other Superman/Superboy spandex type suits still makes sense. He doesn't need a thicker suit for protection or higher HOPE emblem.
How is it MCU-ified? It literally looks verbatim like new 52 Superman with that same paneling texture to the suit, and militaristic high collar, only differences it gives the look the traditional red trunks. It’s legitimately from DC’s own material. I don’t get the MCU comment, either considering all of the Captain America suits, except for the one in Avengers, have been absolutely superior reinventions to what it is in the comics. Same goes for Thor, who looked hideously stupid in the comics

You psycho Snyder Stans did the same thing with Reeves and Pattinson’s The Batman. And that flick took a steaming turd on anything Snyder did and Pattinson is so far and away better than Affleck as the character that it’s remedial to even make the comparison. Snyder Stans, get over it. Move on with your life. Snyder’s JustMID League ideas are dead and buried. MoS was good not great. Cavill was decent not good or great. BvS was decent but flawed and definitely not good or great (better than a lot of overrated MCU though) and Affleck wasn’t even as good as Bale, let alone Keaton, and light years behind Pattinson. The rest of those movies besides WW and oddly The Flash were meh.

Cavill's suit texture SPECIFICALLY reminds me of the old red Kick balls from Elementary school. I would have gone with the new Texture and Crest with a FLEISCHER style suit. The Snyder suits have always had an Organic feel with the accents. This new suit tries to adopt that with a CW style fit. its WEIRD. I wanna see it in action.

I actually like the thickness of the suit. Theirs a chance that the suit is homemade, and I think having a thicker fabric is much more realistic. He's Superman. For God's sake, he can handle some bunched up fabric. What's more likely, that he can get his hands on some heavy duty- Kevlar type fabric, or that he can wif up some magical unbreakable spandex? The heavier fabrics are much more down to earth, and I think that it fits the style he's going for.
Superman is indestructible. It is dumb for Superman to wear a heavy armor like costume.
Reeve’s suit was flexible and comfortable and we can see Reece’s real muscles and body language as Superman.
You couldn’t see body language nor Henry Cavill’s real muscles in his costume and Cavill always looks awkward. Same with this new suit looking super padded and awkward to move.
The padding costumes only makes the actors stilted and hard to move.
