Why does this sound like two edgy teens telling each other how cool it is that they didn't respect the core of a character, because they rather have that character in "their world". I find being rebellious for the sake of being rebellious the weirdest concept ever. Like I get if you want to be rebellious to inspire some sort of positive change, but just burning it all for the shits seems overly cynical. It makes them sound a lot more like the Joker to be honest.

As a total outsider who stumbled onto this video out of sheer chance (not really even realizing there was a such thing as a Zack Snyder fan community)... The video is ipretty good. All communities need more people like you to stand up in favor of decency. Regarding whether the bad actor is a "real fan" or not: I don't think it matters, The true test of a community isn't whether it has its bad actors, but how the community itself handles them. Like how you did, right here. It's a good first impression.

When I think of Joe Manganiello in Comic Book Movies I think Joe as Flash Thompson in Spider-Man (2002) from Raimiverse film series I really want to see Manganiello as Deathstroke in Ben Affleck’s Batman movie script in the Snyderverse/DCEU and I hope & pray it gets put on screen

Snyder is incredible visually but when it comes to storytelling.. meh. His creative writing hurdle can best be summed up in Sucker Punch. Visually the movie is stunning. The storyline is a hot mess. When Snyder puts on his writer hat he tries too hard to write around creating visuals that pop. Storytelling like that is sort of like putting hot sauce on everything to make it taste better rather than just cooking a dish the way its supposed to taste. A story can be enhance by striking imagery too but if the story is not compelling or the writer doesn't create an emotional connection between audience and characters, it doesn't work no matter how many special effects you throw at the film. Marvels many misses post Endgame suffer from this problem. The stories are flat and often pushing woke virtue singling which distracts from the story.. Disney execs though they could patch it up with special effects alone but bad writing is bad writing. One reason that the lastest Deadpool worked is because it broke with the political lecturing and the writing was actually funny.

I have been a giant Superman fan for 40+ years and Zack Snyder made a good Superman movie. He was a bit different from the usual Superman but still very enjoyable. It is not like a new take an a character destroys the old versions of the character. I just have multiple visions of Superman now, which is neat.

I seriously can't stand this desire to make everything look exactly the same. I swear, the MCU has completely ruined the entire comicbook genre for me. Anything that is even slightly original has to be completely destroyed and/or sabotaged, and then beaten into another braindead Disney clone. Even Deadpool/Wolverine felt unwatchable to me, it was like sitting through 2 hours of one of those parody movies from The Boys. Ironically, The boys, which is based on the 2nd worst comicbook ever made, is the only good superhero content out there now.

First off You putting the book out of context to what it actually is . The toy collector is about substance abuse and a dark childhood past , it has humor but it’s also heartbreaking. The story is fictional but the story is sorta about his dark childhood past that James been through with an alcoholic father, bullied at school and he was even molested by his catholic teacher James gunn uses dark humor as a way to let go of his anger from his dark childhood past . Which is why the themed party, James was wearing a pastor outfit to mock his catholic teacher that destroyed his childhood . I suggest you read the whole book to get a better understanding . But if you don’t want to that’s fine but this is out of context to what the book is actually about. The reviews said that is a good story , with dark humor and a heartbreaking moments .
