    It's the 4th of July here in the Sunshine State of Florida I have decided that for this year going to be cooking fried shrimp, Southern deep-fried Fish, BBQ baby back ribs, BBQ beans with Southern-style potatoes salad, for dessert will be apple pie. Going to follow your instruction there with the shrimp they look tasty can not wait to try them out today and have my mom, sister, and Aunt over today to try it out.🥰. Thanks for the upload of Roxy Chow Down Jamaican Recipes. I can not wait to see more of your awesome videos and always would show the love.

    This technique is so simple and my popcorn shrimp turned out amazing! I made some tonight, instead of the spices you put into the flour I put in a chicken tikka masala seasoning because we love the flavor. Thank you for the simple and quick method! O and that method of cleaning the shrimp with lemon juice, mind blown! So much nasty stuff came out even after deveining.

    • @RoxyChowDown
      @RoxyChowDown  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Lorriane Ferguson I recommend tartar sauce or blue cheese but regular ketchup can work if you love ketchup. Yes, cayenne powder can work! If you love lots of spice sprinkle a little bit when seasoning the shrimp and also add a bit to the flour. If you want it mild then test the waters by just adding a bit to your flour mixture. When you try this recipe please let me know how it goes!! 😋😋😋☺️😘

      Tee same with me! I’m not sure if it’s just a cultural thing but I was taught to remove it. I’ve left it in at times for baking and have no problems with a ‘raw’ smell so I believe it’s really harmless but many other times ‘habit’ kicks in and I take it out! Lol

    Bachelors tips... Instead of getting all of your bowls dirty, put those plastic grocery bags to use one time before throwing them away. I mix up my spices, seasoning and flour/cornstarch in a plastic grocery bag and then gather the top closed and shake the shrimp in the coating. Once done coating, just throw that crap away! Now back to your regularly scheduled program...

    Those white things are called the scent of the eggs,when you eat anything with egg and can still taste the egg or berp and can taste or smell egg, it's because you left it in. There's a difference, it's up to You. No harm whatsoever. 😂

    Why is the tail left on ,I pull the tail off, because I put the whole shrimp 🍤 in my mouth 👄,I don’t have time pulling the tail off while I’m eating, and it’s meat inside that tail , and I don’t want to waste any part of the shrimp.😛

    Why not add the egg and milk mix to the flour and blend?
