I just made this tonight and this is the best fried shrimp I've ever had! It's very flavorful. I made my own dipping sauce with about 1 part sour cream, 1 part franks red hot, and some Old Bay and parsley seasoning to taste. It went really well with the shrimp. I didn't measure anything because I had less shrimp and they were smaller so I needed less flour and batter, and I also didn't have buttermilk so I mixed a little vinegar into regular milk. I stlil think it came out as intended though, which is absolutely delicious!

And you say that presentation is key, well once these are finished cooking I’m not going to have any time for presentation, because they are going right into my mouth ( hope they aren’t going to burn my mouth up). They are deveined but did she get the dookie gut out before breading? I always remove the intestines out underneath. its easy to remove with a fork tine.
