I knew she lived up to that after that moment playing MW where she charged in and rolled 8 guys back to back before getting killed, lol. That’s exactly the kind of move I love to see.

Well, Gamers is just an "official" title for generation 2.5, since it saw kind of sporadic joining over several months, instead of 5 people starting at about the same time. More rather, Miko should have been in Gamers, considering when she joined.
But anyway, is not a title to be earned, just a group name from that time.
Gamerz aren't even the biggest gamers in Hololive. Aki and Choco have way more hours of gameplay than them and Ayame, Aqua or Roboco have way more competitve experience.

Huh.. Same here with BO1 and 3 honestly. Though, alot of it can be chocked up to Zombies doing all the easter eggs.
The game I have that nearly reaches that number is Warframe, which according to Steam I've logged 2,300 hours in, and that's not counting the year I spent on it as a standalone before I linked it to Steam so it's realistically more like 3,000+ hours or so over 6 years.
And yeah, for gamers it's common to have that one or two games that you spend more than a thousand hours on due to how much you like them, or because they're just comfortable to play.
Somehow I have 2242 hours in Europa Universalis IV per Steam.
Steam says i got 120+ hour on skyrim eventough i probably reach 700-800+ hour because i oftenly play it withour internet
And 5k+ hour in dota not counting dota 1 days...

Nice to see you included that, some of my most beloved games barely pass the 100 hr mark due to them being a 5 hour game that i replay once every 2 weeks-month over the years since i've found them. My top played game on Steam is Payday 2 sitting at 1500 hours (with second place having a huge gap at 500 hours) yet it's not even close to being my favorite game. Obviously fun and easy to dive into at anytime, but not a memorable experience i cherish greatly. The only exception to that is the good chunk (probably over a third) of hours spent playing it with friends and all the laughs and discussions we've had. Catching up on whats been happening with each other while doing heists together.

I feel like there's a big divide between those who play mmorpg having thousands of hours played and those like me who may only have hundreds of hours but play different kinds of games, mostly story driven and single player gmes

well i think there's 2 different types of gamers, and one type doesn't exactly exclude the other.
you either find a game or type of game you love and play it relentlessly, or you spread out your time over a bunch of games but play them relentlessly.
a gamer is just someone who's main hobby is games and don't play pure casually. and by that i mean, you don't pick up a game because "its something to do" but because you want to play it and possibly beat it or achieve something in it either as a personal goal or a in game goal.
in my mind the divide isn't actually that big, its just a matter of focus. i'm like you, i have my play time spread out over a bunch of games, most not even going over 200 hours, but that said, most go over 100 hours and the shear number of games i play means my gaming play time is pretty on par with people who play mmo's super seriously.
although that said, when i was younger, i know i apparently put 3000+ hours into a 25 - 30 hour rpg... don't ask me how tho... lol
might have just been one of those types of games just hits all the right points for me.

She, Miko and only a selected few look like they're the only natural gamers in Hololive, the ones who play games like CoD, Far Cry, Apex, etc.
Aqua is speedrunner too, she even beat darksouls in 3 hours
I relate a lot with her, I was obsessed with black ops 1 and even when mw3 came out I stuck with black ops.

To be fair, the game has been out for long and if you're constantly playing it for as little as an hour or two a day, it could have added up.
Black Ops, though? The two COD games I played for more than a year is COD4 (about 2000 hours since I pubbed and competed in TWL/CAL-O) and Black Ops 2 (mostly TWL). Black Ops 2 was good but when I wanted to go back with it since I got a way better PC, servers weren't as populated.

what made the League part pretty funny was (the subs for this part was missing a bit cus prob the translator didn't play League), but if I heard it correctly, the guy who played 10000 hours of League was doing Co-Op vs AI and pretty much playing Lucian exclusively. Guess its basically a top-down shooter rpg or sth for him lol. I couldn't find it on google though probably I should search in Japanese

There's a nuance to the LoL story that i feel is quite significant, the player was accumulating his 10k hour playtime against bots exclusively, and that I feel is why she told the story.
There was a theory that said if you want to be considered elite and truly experienced within a certain craft, you must practice it for ten thousand hours.

damn, thats the total amount of time i spent on Battlefield (1+4, played it in PS4), War Thunder (PS4 and PC), HoI4, and also less than my time on Roblox. I look at myself and say "i wasted time on games", but immediately remembered the fun times i had, then cry on regret for wasting time again

I can relate having put a disgusting amount of time into Black Ops 2, 3 and MWR. Probably not as crazy as up in the thousands but I did hit Prestige 10 in MWR before I stopped.

ive played monster hunter series for a collective 7000 hours and counter strike series for probably more than 12k hours (not entirely sure, i played cracked cs before CSGO) so for her to have 2.5k hours in just 1 really makes her a true master gamer! She may even have more game time than me if we talk about her total playtime! I salute you elite gamer lion!

Back when I was a kid we had Nintendo Sega Genesis Super Nintendo Nintendo 64 GameCube, but never a good PC, because my parents didn't really need one, nor did they want to spend the money on one. When we got an Xbox 360 I got Call of Duty and that's where it all began. I never switched to PC for any FPS game until Team Fortress 2 became free to play in 2011. I dabbled a little bit here and there on Counter-Strike 1.6 but I never really got into the game because it felt slow compared to Call of Duty in terms of movement and that sort of feeling has stuck with me throughout the years. When I started playing Team Fortress 2 that's when I really started to get into PC FPS. And now I wish that I had, for example, like shroud, been playing PC FPS since I was 3 or 4 years old, because that's when you develop very important motor skills. Similar to how Olympians train from a very very young age to be good. I'm okay at PC FPS but I could have been better is usually what I think

As someone who play Team Fortress 2 for 3000 hours in less than 2 years. I understand sometimes if you just like the game, you just keep playing it even if you found new game you will come back to that game again. Heck i even know someone who racked up like 10.000 hours in BF2, yes that BF2 if you including the time he play on Project Reality too.
I can relate, i spent almost a full year playing modern warfare 2, then I switched to PC. in total i have almost 4000H of mW2
