It's so disingenuous. I can handle it from people who dont know better, and find a solution to improve their sound, even if it looks silly, but bigger content creators should know better.
32-Bit float would have made this a cheat code (edit: Can confirm it has 32-bit float from our resident TH-camr replying and looking into it himself 🙂. Thanks, Juan)
@SomeGadgetGuy I 100% stand corrected. I must have missed that bit and I saw the graphic that said 48 khz 24-bit. I assume that's what the cap was. Changes everything
Ah no worries. I pulled their spec sheet directly, and that is confusing. It defaults to 24/48, but there is an option to do 32-bit. I could have made that clearer in text.
@@SomeGadgetGuy Thanks for going back and double-checking on this. It's really helpful. Especially with It's difficulty to distort. It's really fantastic when you abandon the Shure sm7b in a lav approach To copium on the medium in general and EQ sensibilities on the master in as well
Clever stuff. The.muff held by 3/4 inch jack. The noise reduction was interesting that, to try to be more natural and not hard gate the vocal, it added a kind of small room reverb. That's an interesting way to solve that problem. I like the system. Several times, I've been tempted as you've shown us these wireless systems. This one follows the progression of tech improvements and Innovation. Nice job.
It's another SOLID link in the chain. I think we've seen fantastic solutions from other brands, but the tech is cycling quickly and we're finding ways to bring professional features to lower price points.
Surprisingly well. Been using them on numerous talking head videos, and just wrapped a location interview. Hollyland set a high standard, and obviously there will be personal preferences on things like sound and tone and advanced features, but I think saramonic has delivered nicely competitive hardware with an eye to undercut price.
do the two mics end up as a stereo track in the video editor? I am interested in using them to record a jazz combo at a club from a front row table. Stereo would be great.
this beats the Rode Wireless Pro at a substantially cheaper price. Now if only they had a lockable 3.5mm jack for the lavalier socket. I am curious why they need the antenna for the 300mm wireless distance. The Godox Cube S wireless mic covers 300mm without any antenna, so the technology and hardware is there, line of sight of course. Unless the Saramonic covers 300m with the antenna without line of sight, then it makes sense for the antenna.
Well wireless isn't ever as easy as "this does 300M". It's kinda like gas mileage right? An "up to 300M" might mean acceptable signal degradation with clear air and no wind, or it could mean "barely holding on by the skin of its teeth" and there's no way to know without testing in multiple locations and conditions. Often, it's not difficult to push even farther than the rated setting, but with less consistent signal. Unfortunately, we dont get any setting to see what the reception might be, and how that might influence fidelity.

Juan stop 😂..! with that intro you are killing me 😆. Thank you for keep educating people in the gadgets

Damn Juan, you went full TikTok influencer at the start there.
Ps. This mic system seems pretty great.
It was exhausting. I dont get how people keep up the fake hype energy like that... Must be why those videos are so short...

I'm not sure I understand. It does have 32 bit float.

I am glad you are just as furious about that trend as I am
I AM OLD AND ANGRY AT YOUNG PEOPLE DOING THINGS WRONG!!!
Rocking the even realities i see.
you must be enjoying them hope to get a review
Commentary is already starting on the patreon. Patrons are like my shareholders, so when I'm buying gear, they get first looks at the coverage.

Great review... very helpful!
How does it compare to the Hollyland Lark Max?
Great video!!

They can. You can set up mono, stereo, or safety recording.

Saving until later. Sounds interesting.
Get it? SOUNDS interesting? Cuz it's a microphone? And that RECORDS sound?
It's kind of an audio pun.
Looks good. Or better said, sounds good.
I really liked them. Just a bit darker than the RODE, but not muddy like some of the cheap mics I've played with.
That intro!!! 😝
Felt it needed to be mentioned 😅
First ! (Technically Second ) Cause Juan Commented Before.
We know which first REALLY mattered. 😊
@SomeGadgetGuy 😅🙂😎
That has a lot of awird distirtion tin canny noise. Sounds like noise canceling is on overdrive the whole time.
