I went to a technician at the mall to have my zx's battery replaced. He watched this video and followed your advice to not "open the screen if it's your first time". He didn't open it since he's afraid.
What an astonishing piece of engineering by Sony. I don't care if my phone is 2-3mm thicker than the competitors if it is well designed and engineered.
I still have a xz premium (released April 2017),still runs fine after 3 years. Sony could've done more with these phones buy they're pretty good. Ridiculously durable, it's been (accidentally) thrown around my kitchen a few times and dropped on tiles. Only ever needed a charging port replacement last year, battery lasts all day and charges in 1.5hrs
@@DollinhonJew im currently using xz for about 4 years, as far as durability goes the phone is rock solid, never had to replace any parts, but as far as software goes, the phone did start to lag a lot, and especially at low batteries and when it got heated up (which started to happen quite often), and just recently i had to replace the battery, other than that, its totally a good phone.

Thanks for this dude, it's really interesting to see how premium phones are manufactured and the little tidbits that go into each slot. Thumbs up for that easy screen replacement.
Cool! I have an XZ Premium that is fine except for the charging port being a bit loose and having a dodgy pin. Which I guess is quite major because the cable has to be inserted, then very, very carefully moved around until all pins get contact before it will charge. Once in the optimal position, it has to be left in that spot lest the plug lose contact and stop charging. I have a replacement though. Not a Sony. My daughter bought me an OPPO A53s which is a very good phone considering the price. I was advised by a repairer here in Australia that it would be "very expensive" to repair it. However, knowing enough about phone dismantling to be dangerous to myself and others, as well as having a sometimes problematic curiosity, I think I might source a replacement charging port and have a crack at fixing it. The worst I can do is break it.
If u try to replace the iPhone 7 or plus screen will it no longer be water resistant pls reply cause my dads new iPhone 7 plus just fell and the screen shattered
